Located in a residential neighborhood, there are a half dozen charmingly decorated cabins that share a common courtyard/deck. I'm pretty sure they all have small but adequate kitchens. locally ground coffee is provided. It was a short and pleasant walk to downtown Calistoga. There is one caveat on the claim of 'quiet': next door is a monastery that marks the...

This was our second stay at the Washington Street Lodging and both times we were in room 3, which has a a nice deck overlooking the river. Our family rented the whole place a few years ago during my niece's wedding and we had been wanting to stay there again. We like the casual comfort and quaintness of the charming...

We reserved cottage three and it was magnificent. The back balcony provides a picturesque view to the creek below. The value for money is really good especially compared to the outrages prices of the high-end accommodations. We are very pleased with the cleanliness, location and parking accommodations.

We stayed in cottage 3 for three days in May, cottage 4 in July for a week and both had outside patio's and we left the doors open for our dog, the fresh air and yes the sound of the children from the playground across the creek which we enjoyed hearing. The large wood patio outside of cottages is a...

My friend and I were backpacking through California and decided that we wanted to visit Wine Country, even if it meant giving up backpacker's thrift for a few days. We stayed in Cottage 2, paying just over $200 each for three nights, which, while obviously more expensive per bed per night than the hostels we generally stayed in, was hardly...

Just returned from a weekend in Calistoga for a wedding and was very impressed with Washington Street Lodging. Great value in an otherwise pricey area. Beds were comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower and loved the fresh coffee we could make each morning. Easy walk a couple of blocks to Lincoln St (the main drag) and great small wineries...

Tucked away about five minutes walk from the town centre. Tidy and comfortable lodges. We had lodge number one (although we were told we would be getting lodge number three that had a stream running outside the external decking) but had NO HOT WATER for a shower on the two mornings we stayed. Strangely the water was on in the...

While visiting my Dad at Rose Haven in St. Helena we decided to stay at pet friendly Washington St. Lodging. We arrived yesterday 5/6 and were very impressed with the lay back manner that exist here and the colorful cottages that surround the large wooden deck beckoning anyone to sit and relax for awhile. We're in cottage 3 and the...

This was our first stay in Calistoga. We were traveling with our dog, so we went to the visitor's center for a list of pet friendly places. I got sticker shock from most of the choices in Calistoga. Then I came across Washington Street Lodging. What a find! The cottage had charming decor, a beautiful patio/garden area, was pet friendly,...

we stayed one night in cabin 4 and the experience was like camping in a tent except a tent has more room. all the rooms were small and the only seating were two little cafe chairs in the kitchenette and no chairs in the main room. Best part was the deck but the chairs were unconfortable and the kids across...
