We needed a place to stay for our trip to see Salvation Mountain & The Salton Sea. This inn is in the remote town of Calipatria. I'm sure it's the only inn in town & we didn't have much selection if we didn't want to drive back home. I wish we did just go home. Pro's: Extremely affordable The owners...

I hate to give terrible reviews because I'm possibly affecting someone's income, but the room was not clean. Carpet had not been vacuumed in awhile. Refrigerator was sticky inside. I had to wash out the drinking glasses before using them. Yes, they were gross. Vanity fluorescent light blinked like a disco ball. The pool water looked green, and I'm not...

due to an unforeseeable problem which prevented us from actually staying the night, the staff (owners?) were the most understanding & helpful people I have ever dealt with. So even though I can't write a full review, I just wanted to commend them on their professional & friendly behavior. and say "thank you!"

Appears they are working to improve the place. Friendly and clean enough. Also, pet friendly. Rates are reasonable and it's a good base camp for seeing the area attractions. Visited the bird sanctuary, salvation mountain and slab city. Fun trip. Went into Brawley for dinner to the steakhouse- worth the drive!!

This is a good honest Motel, with big rooms, great aircon, micro wave, coffee making, fridge, super comfy bed, good WiFi, ironing board and a big pool. Close to the Salton Sea and close to town. The continental breakfast is OK. Would stay here for a third time for sure1

Centrally located for the attractions near the Salton Sea. The best hotel in the area with a very competent staff. Very helpful in advising us about the attractions in the area and planned the day trip for us to see what we wanted to see. They prepared an excellent dinner for our group. I would definitely recommend this hotel for...

Bed have improved since last time. Lots of dog friendly area around hotel. Owner and front desk help is very welcoming. Flat panel TV's seem on the newer side. Internet was good and bad depending on time of day. Refrigerator was dirty. Water stains on ceiling. towels are dingy

I have stayed here 4 times, each trip was around 4 weeks & this hotel was perfect, the breakfast wasn't great however the food in the evening never disappointed, great place if you are looking to stay a night to break down a long drive, few nice attractions around including sultan sea. I cycled all over the place & had...

The town of Calipatria has seen better days. We were worried that the Inn would reflect the downturn for the town but was (sigh of relief!) better than we'd expected. They even serve dinner and given the few options in the area for dining, it seemed a good idea to stay at the Inn and give it a try. The...

While the inn is lovely and the grounds and rooms are exceptionally well kept the office staff are arrogant and lazy. The Wi-Fi in my room did not work and when I called and even walked down in person they could not have cared less. They kept passing the buck saying they had left a message for the manager. However,...
