The hotel is adequate for spending a night while waiting for a flight. We were annoyed that there is no shuttle from the airport although this is an airport hotel. Uber to and from the airport was $16 each way.

The hotel offers grab and go breakfast that includes OJ, muffin, granola bar, apple and coffee. There are computers in the lobby but you cannot use them due to COVID.

Room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. If you need the extra bedding this is a good value. Room could have used better cleaning, there were a couple of items left from a previous guest. The view of the bay from the room is very nice. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If the price is right I would stay here again.

We just needed a hotel for one night, by the airport with a shuttle to the airport in the morning. This fits the bill. Easy check-in, easy check out. Rooms are ok with a one-cup Keurig in the room. Small bathroom. The shuttle to the airport runs at 8 minutes after the hour and then again in 30 minutes. Easy enough. No idea about breakfast, we left too early.

We actually stayed here twice in May. First was two nights with 5 of us in adjoining rooms. The adult kids loved this as we’d never had one before. (The things they take joy in!) The rooms are clean and we never heard airplanes despite being so close to the airport. Upon checkout we downsized our car and learned all our luggage wouldn’t fit in the new car! As we’d be back for another stay in a day, the hotel let us store a bag and pick it up on our return. PERFECT. The woman at the front desk was so wonderful.

Our second stay was only 4 of us in one double room. The guy working the front desk wasn’t so wonderful. Our room only had 2 towels and when I went to get two more he was shocked and challenged me. “MORE towels??” When I explained we had only two towels and four people he says “Four people?” like we’d snuck additional people in when the reservation was clearly for four.

The hotel has a nice breakfast and the seating area is open all day. The night before our early flight we just ordered pizza delivery and ate there and played cards. It was a nice end to our vacation. (Even if I was challenged regarding our towel usage. 😀)

Oh, and their website said they don’t have an airport shuttle, but they did when we were there. So check with them if that is a deciding factor.

10 mins drive to Airport, perfect for 1-night stay. Good room, a good view of the backwater and downtown landscape from the hotel (you need to come to the backyard). Attached restaurant (not run by the hotel) is also good. Hotel was kind enough to pack some breakfast for me for my early morning flight.

My boyfriend and I had booked a room for March 22nd as a gift for my birthday (booking was done pre-quarantine). The booking was cancelled and while we understand that it was probably for safety reasons, we are still very disappointed in the service. The email that stated our booking was cancelled also said that we would be receiving a refund (for the money we already paid). It has been 10 days and no one has responded to our email nor have we gotten a refund. Don’t waste your time here, go somewhere with more professionalism.

This Holiday inn Express is getting a rare five-star review. for a government traveler the room price could not be beat, under $100. The room was enormous. They gave me a two-room suite with a king bed. there was a nice living room area and even a conference table style dining room.

The hotel structure is a bit worn and outdated. But the room was very modern.

The pool is absolutely useless, and should probably be closed. Save water, save electricity on filtering. The water temperature was approximately 68 degrees. I did not dare jump in. The San Francisco Bay was warmer.

they do have an airport shuttle, but it only runs wants every 45 minutes on a circuit between multiple hotels. Fortunately the timing work for me.

This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay before an early morning flight. I'm local to the San Francisco Bay Area.

The receptionist was accommodating and sweet but The bathroom was the worst. The space was tiny. The walls had tape on them,the shower curtain at the bottom had a yellow/orange tint to it. Like if it was old urine stains. the toilets and bath tub were dirty and rusty. And the ceiling was falling apart. Their free breakfast is the only thing they have going for them. Oh also, i was thirsty after my trip and wanted a water bottle from a vending machine, but guess what? There are no vending machines. They just sell sodas and juices, by the front desk, but no water. When i asked the older lady who works there if they had water, she gave me attitude and said “nope, just whatever we have there.” I wonder what diabetic guests do there when they get thirsty? Ive never heard of a hotel with no vending machines. All night I couldn’t sleep because I felt so dehydrated. Never again. I thought the holiday inn was something reliable that you can’t go wrong with , but this place gives it a motel 6 reputation.

I have an ongoing work assignment in the early part of each year in the SFO locale and last year, I stayed regularly at this property for the duration, generally having a good experience for good value. Things have changed.

Prices have doubled in comparison to early 2021. Why? That's impossible to answer. The hotel has not been renovated. The hotel has not been improved. Service is the same (and indeed lacking). For twice the price, you'd expect twice the service, twice the value. You get nothing different for the price doubling.

The hotel shuttle has now been restored and it runs intermittently in conjunction with other local properties approximately once an hour. It was no help to me in my arrival or departure time. Breakfast has been restored, although it was never taken away. Previously, you got all the items handed to you by staff, now you can help yourself. The pool is closed. There is no housekeeping. Hardly validating doubling the room rate.

This is generally a good property, but it no longer offers value for money at all. Quite the opposite in fact. You could also argue that standards are slipping. The heating in my room did not work. Three times staff entered my room despite the "do not disturb" notice. They knock once and don't wait for any reply before simply entering. I learnt to have the bolt engaged.

No housekeeping means reusing towels, dealing with your own trash, making your own bed. All reasons why the hotel should have no justification for doubling their prices.

Alas, the price prohibits further stays for this project for me. The lack of service and lack of amenities cannot justify the increase for me. Shame, because in many respects, the hotel is still a good property.

On two occasions, I tried to cancel this hotel due to the troubling reviews on this site. Both times, I was told that the hotel would not cancel even though they discontinued their shuttle service. After paying for a $40.00 round trip Uber to and from the hotel, I wish that I would have simply stayed elsewhere. Due to the hotel's low rates, the clientele frequenting this hotel during this pandemic is "sketchy" at best. The hotel is also not following proper protocols. Also, the entire hotel has a weed smell that I personally found irritating. Lastly, I was unable to get any rest as the couple next door were very noisy. The rates may be low, but you get what you pay for!

We've stayed at this hotel near the SF Airport ahead of many early a.m. return flights home to DC (our kids and grandkids and many friends are in the Bay area). The place is clean, mostly comfortable and convenient. Noise is an occasional problem, this time included, but it's not serious.
