The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport delights many guests with its warm staff and stylish atmosphere, complete with modern amenities and well-maintained rooms. While the hotel's proximity to the airport is a plus for travelers, opinions on noise levels vary, with some disturbances noted from highways and planes. Despite generally positive remarks about room cleanliness, there are mixed reviews regarding comfort and dated decor. Extra charges for parking, food, and other amenities are a concern for guests seeking value, with some considering these costs steep.

We held our Annual CUPA Conference at this location and it went very well. The conference rooms/classrooms were all centrally located, so that attendees did not have to walk a lot from classroom to classroom. It seemed like each classroom can be expanded or reduced depending on the expected class size, which is super convenient. The audio visual technician was available all throughout the conference and was very attentive to the needs of the speakers. The coffee/tea/water service was excellent, with plenty of variety to choose from. I stayed at the hotel for the duration of the conference. I liked the bathroom. The shower head was modern and it only took 2 seconds for the hot water to kick in. At other hotels, I had to wait at least 5 seconds for the hot water. During California drought, wasting cold water makes me feel guilty. I don't know how they did it, but hot water was available almost immediately. Thank you for that.
However, I was given a room on the fourth floor facing the freeway, and the noise from the freeway was quite annoying. Maybe higher floors has less freeway noise. Also, there are a few classrooms with a beam right at the center, so it's a little distracting.
But overall, Hyatt Burlingame is a great venue for a conference!

Very helpful courtesy shuttle driver. Downhill from there. From door to front desk no baggage assistance available. When we reached front desk, bellman from behind his podium, asked if we needed assistance! Too little to late.
Asked for a room near elevator. Be warned this is a huge hotel with only one group of elevators in one corner, so it can be a very long walk to your room. Got a room 32 rooms away from the elevators! Almost the furthest room from elevator. Last time we stayed in a room even further away.
Kudos to housekeeping....our room was spotless!
Two bottles of water were $4.00 each unless you were a Hyatt elite member. We haven’t achieved that status and probably won’t attempt too. Last night we stayed at a Marriott and large bottles of water were free regardless of status. For a supposedly five star hotel it’s just chintzy to charge for regular bottled water.
When we attempted to check out at 9 a.m. there was only one person working the front desk. After waiting more than 10 minutes, without any acknowledgement by the front desk person, who was working with a guest who had credit card problems, we dropped our keys in the instant checkout box. We have not received an email re our final bill.
All in all, lousy customer response. We tried to contact Executive Offices of hotel because we were concerned about checkout and got nothing but voicemail!
We are seasoned travelers who are not high maintenance. We are fit but in our late 70’s. We will not be booking this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless. The Regency Club is one of the best features as they offer what is essentially a full hot buffet in the evening. Salad, soup, and a hot entree (sliced chicken breast in a delicious light gravy and rice , for example). If you don't need a large dinner, it is certainly worthwhile paying extra for a Regency Club room (or complimentary if you are a Hyatt "Globalist" member). I highly recommend this hotel.

Hyatt SFO is absolutely unable to fully deliver quality service to a large convention of guests. Average wait times for the restaurant were an hour and a half and since room service isn't a separate operation, they would full on CLOSE room service when unequipped to handle the amount of orders requested (and just not answer the phone. One night, the operator told me they were closed due to "being full" at 6:30 pm!) I was there for a dance convention and competition and often not in a position to leave the hotel due to our schedule. When food and beverages have such a lengthy wait, this is absolutely unacceptable. I'm writing the owner of the convention to have them consider a different hotel next time that can handle the amount of people. The hotel seemed short staffed and inexperienced at being able to handle such a large crowd.

I stayed one night here and liked it. I was greeted warmly at check-in which was quick. The room was quiet even though the hotel is near a highway. The room was comfortable and there were two bottles of complimentary water. One small thing...the closet is next to the bathroom door which can block access to the closet when open. This hotel offers quick check-out by smartphone which is very nice.

There is a gift shop in the hotel but if you want cheaper prices there is a convenient store across the street at the gas station. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but only Maxx's appealed to me. I tried the hotel restaurant for breakfast but since it was past 10am I could only select the (somewhat pricey) buffet or wait until 11am for the lunch menu which I did. I was one of only two customers at the time but it took 15 minutes for my quesadilla to be prepared and I complained a little about that. However, they comped my lemonade (with free refills) and the meal itself was delicious and looked really nice. The cook delivered it himself with apologies. Excellent service and I gave a generous tip. The food is on average a little expensive perhaps but to be expected given it is a hotel restaurant. There is a bar there too. At 11am I wanted a peaceful environment and it generally was except for some reason clubbing music was being played and I found that a bit annoying. Maybe they heard me grumble to myself a bit because it was later turned down.

Overall this was a good experience.

I would highly recommend the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport. The hotel is COVID-19 Super Clean and there are signs everywhere to remind guests to wear masks and social distance. The hotel rooms are spacious and immaculate and the WiFi is free. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The hotel is also pet friendly and even our dog Tank enjoyed his stay with the spacious green grass area in front of the hotel. The price of the rooms is reasonable. Everything you need as a guest is here. The restaurant takeout food is delicious and there is lots of seating in the open-air atrium area. As guests, we felt safe. My husband and I live in Hawaii and we recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency since our family we came to visit has a small place. It was kind of sad not to see a lot of guests here, like in the past. This is a good time to stay here because before COVID-19, the hotel was usually crowded. Our stay was very enjoyable. Everything you need is right here even a ride to the airport on their free shuttle. We plan on coming back again the next time we visit family in the area.

Everything looked wonderful, we thought we'd splurge a bit on our last night and everything we saw made us think this is a really great place to stay until you went into the bathroom, not sure when the tub was last cleaned, but the grout was orange and mildew stains surrounding the outer area of the tub, the sink faucet when turned on sounded as if you were turning on all the faucets in the hotel, it was so loud. I turned it just so that enough water came out to wash my hands without waking my sleeping family in the middle of the night. The toilet handle that was more of a push flush kept moving around and having to be put back in place. And last but not least the water was lukewarm no matter how long you stood there it wasn't getting any hotter than that. I've been to places for half the price that had water so hot it'd scald your skin. Terribly disappointed.

Visited this location for a large conference. The hotel was far from meeting expectations of the luxury brand the Hyatt advertises. Yes, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The wifi constantly would reset and the speeds were not consistent. The room hvac system failed to work. The room walls were so thin you could hear conversations from the other rooms and the hallways. When you exit the elevator, you see a sign that informs you that quiet time begins at 9:00 PM. The sign is not a suprise as the quality of the hotel insulation is poor. This location is so poor quality that they only provide a beverage cooler and not a refrigerator. They also have no microwaves in the room insted you have to locate the one communal microwave near the vending machines.
The drinks we ordered from the bar were overpriced and nothing special. The gym on the 9th floor was locked and never opened. Walking around, you would always see laundry carts left in the hallways. The sanitizer dispensers near the elevators were all empty.

We paid $15 a day for parking. The first location we tried to park was the garage which was full. The first outdoor lot we tried the gate would not open. The second outdoor lot we tried had both the in and out gates open and never closed. When leaving the next morning on an errand we also realized they don't monitor the parking lots as people were parked in non-parking spaces blocking in parked cars.
The hotel also provided dinner, breakfast, lunch, and a brunch for the conference. The food was okay, and for everything but the breakfast, the chef could only prepare very similar chicken dishes. Lunch was the worst because it felt like all they did was use the leftover chicken from the prior nights dinner.
Regardless of having a conference or meeting here, I would not stay overnight and definitely would not order food or beverages.

The area has two Embassy Suites that are comparably prices and provide better quality all the way around.

On the last day of a trip to San Francisco area for a family event my wife and I wanted to stay close to the airport for our early morning flight home. The Hyatt Regency accommodated us without issue for an early check in, allowing us to leave our rental car in front of the hotel for over a half hour as we checked in, went to our room, which allowed us to return our car and take the BART downtown. Staff was as friendly and accommodating as good be.

It's a bit expensive at the hotel, although I do agree it is very tasty at the hotel.. I just walked up the street (towards the airport), although the road seems a bit busy and about a 10-15 min walk or so, to the Shell gas station on the airport/Bay side of the road and grabbed some snacks and apple/blueberry danishes to satisfy my breakfast needs.
