Booked a King room. Had my confirmation that said King. I paid more for the Rez by selecting king over queen. It was prepaid. Put me in a smelly Queen without saying they'd downgraded me. Tried to turn on the light by the bed so I could see the phone. The light didn't work. Tried to use the phone, the...

I have been staying here on-off with my mom & brother for about a month. I live at the 2600 Olive building that has slightly larger living spaces. The rustic Spanish themed rooms are charming and well furnished, but aren't lit well enough! The pool at this building is not heated either and so is rendered useless in the colder...

I want to let you know how much I appreciate the friendly and quick service your front desk folks and the maintenance man have given me. I am especially pleased with how quickly and courteously the few minor problems I've had, have been fixed. Thank you, Carol Welsh

As Lynda says in her post 2 back: somehow I think that people are reviewing this hotel when in fact they aren't. This hotel is fantastic. Busy on the Olive side, alley on the other. The only thing we heard was the occasional ambulance. Clean, cozy, very home-like feeling. Simply put, I'd recommend this to anyone that doesn't care about...

The staff went above and beyond to help. They were always happy to help, and adjust to our crazy schedule and last min. changes. Our room itself, was very clean and had a homie feel which is rare at most hotels. My boyfriend and I came expecting to stay 2 nights but left after an entire week due to the...

I'm not sure what's going on, but I think some people are getting this place confused with the Extended Stay America. That is NOT this place. This is not a chain or franchise. This is not near the airport, train tracks or any other such thing. It IS off of a busy street (Olive) and there is some siren noise...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here in June 2014 in an upstairs room. the place has a cool vibe with lots of cool people staying there. The rooms aircon was pretty crap considering how hot it gets in LA and the locks to the doors were a little dodgy. Other than that I would happily stay there again any time.

This was a satisfactory place to stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. Loved the kitchenette so we could cook and save some money by not eating out every meal. This is a great location, close to universal studios. It is a nice safe area with a shopping center in walking distance. We walked to the Target almost every day....

I have been living here for almost 3 months now. And besides the internet being very hard to connect from the rooms, today I've experienced something extremely disappointing. A few items from my inventory, which I had in my room, went missing. I had approximately $1000 worth in bags that were stolen from my closet. I'm heading now to file...

A warm welcome is given, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds vary (some are too soft to sleep on), the kitchenette has everything you need and enough room to cook etc. If you want to sleep in during the day, this probably isn't ideal as all the rooms are around the pool, we go out in...

“Try to get a room on North end of hotel. If you want the maximum quietness and no direct sun to bake your room. Southwest side is the worst. With trash area, commuter trains, parking lot and 5 story parking garage, with the afternoon sun. That these A/C units just cant seem to keep up with in the summer time. Stay away from southwest end of hotel.”
