You can find shuttle services by searching on the Internet for "Lyft". That's the one I use. They are quicker to get to you, better, more professional, and less expensive than Uber. I end up tipping the drivers more than with Uber, so I spend about the same, but I'd rather give the driver a little better tip and be happy with the service. Either one has the option of personal/family ride or shuttle. And they will take you as far/short a distance you would like. I used Lyft first to go from home in Lakewood all the way to the LAX airport, and the next time only from the hospital in Long Beach to home. The first time, in the middle of the rush hour morning traffic, it took only a half-hour or less for him to pick me up, and the second time, when I was released at 10 P.M., it only took 3 minutes. If you're using a smartphone, download their app. It keeps your account better, so next time you use it, it's quicker and easier to book a ride.
