The horseshoe & castle has become our local pub and has never failed to deliver fantastic service. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Great for families and dog friendly.
We have attended their monthly quiz and enjoy them very much.
An overpriced stay in an average room. Staff very welcoming upon arrival - the lady behind the bar in particular.
Breakfast was lovely, could tell the quality of the ingredients. Very much needed after a heavy night at a wedding near by.

Stayed here recently for my son's wedding and I can only say this is a fantastic venue to use for an event like this.

I couldn't agree more with your sentiments. Unfortunately you are reviewing Cooling Castle Barn and not The Horseshoe and Castle.

Stopped here one night on a walking holiday and found the staff very welcoming and the landlord an interesting chap who runs a vital community resource and has done so for 29 years. Open fires, well kept beer, good food (excellent breakfast) and friendly staff....More
