I visited on 15 th may 2018 .Its good place in this seasons as compare to tents . We cannot expect high quality food & stay in remote area as they have to manage all from Leh city which is almost 4 hrs drive.

Hotel is nice and situated near lake and peoples serving there are nice. Please don't book the hotel online in off season like we did in august and september . Goibibo and other online peoples charge 3 times money of that hotel fees. So better book onsite in off season because most of the hotels and camps remain empty in off-season. In peak season like june and july it can be booked online sine most of hotels and tents remain crowdy. They have also office in Leh (mob no-9906998202 , 9469728072 ) who also can be contacted and booked . Otherwise cottage is good for overnight stay . It is made of wood and tin. SO it should be booked at site only with 1/3rd of money. Hopes , it will help others

This is just like other cottages near the lake. You get a good view of the lake from this property. Needless to say that it gets extremely cold in the night. There are some cheaper options available but they're a little further away from the lake.

wow!...moon rise over mountains & across the lake was special treat. Staff had tea ready for morning view overlooking lake - simple, clean accommodations. western washroom & hot water - comfy beds with heavy winter duvet - (warm during the day - freezing at night) - high dessert wilderness experience - outstanding/plentiful food & helpful staff...

The cottages are excellent place to stay near Pangong Tso. The nice from the room is breathtaking. Food quality is good. Service is good and responsive. We had little bit issue about electricity but considering the remoteness of the location, it can be ignored. Hot water is available in the morning. Rooms are warm enough as this place can be freezing cold at the night. We really enjoyed our time here.

The cottages are neat and clean with a hot water facility in the morning( apprx. 6.30 am to 10 am). They are very near to the Pangong Tso giving a heavenly view of the lake all round the clock. Moreover the staff is very helpful and takes good care of the guests. They served us complimentary tea on arrival. The dinner and breakfast were served hot and fresh on a buffet system. We had a delightful stay at Pangong Holiday Cottages.

Ideal place to stay with view overlooking the Pangong Lake. One can enjoy the changing hues of lake without getting out. Pangon Lake welcomes with a rain bow. The rooms are functional for overnight stay. Staff is courteous food homely

Pangong Holiday Cottages, by Pangong Tso are best avoided. The so-called cottages are not more than plywood and tin sheds ...with shaky beds made of, yes.....plywood. In fact it's a scary and risky place. The bathrooms are minuscule with a conglomeration of pipes and taps. And worse, the food is pathetic and hygiene standards appalling. A place best avoided.

We were part of a motorcycle convoy riding through Ladakh and were supposed to stay here for 1 night. When we first arrived, the owner greeted us and did not want to release the keys to us, which felt kinda weird, because all other accommodations would just hand us the keys, especially knowing we had been riding all day and was already exhausted. When our road captain finally arrived, he found out that they had given away some of our rooms to some other guests as there was a big festival going on as the time. Our road captain was furious but there was nothing to be done but to relocate half the group to another accommodation nearby. It is totally unacceptable to knowingly give away rooms that have already been booked previously, for whatever reason and we will never ever stay here again.

very comfortable beds with heavy duvet, western washroom with sprayer, HOT water, - simple & clean - good/plentiful food, outstanding staff! bring winter clothes -warm during day - freezing at night (~ 5km altitude) & flashlight. Incredible area!
There are more places to choose from in the Spangmik area.
