Stayed 1 night at the upper campground. Found a quiet spot underneath a huge tree that protected me from the rain. Showers were close by, clean. They cost $1-2. Beach is nearby, but a bit of a hike. Conveniently located just north of Bodega Bay.

It would be easiest to do the 2 minute drive over to the beach trail head to the North which is within the campground roads, unless you are comfortable walking on super squishy sand over a hill for a 1/2 mile. The campsites... More
It would be easiest to do the 2 minute drive over to the beach trail head to the North which is within the campground roads, unless you are comfortable walking on super squishy sand over a hill for a 1/2 mile. The campsites are located on the opposite side of a large sand dune hill from the beach.
