The only negative is, the nightly rate is too high for all of your cabins. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay. We also were very pleased that there was adequate water in the streams, pond, and lake. Hope you have a great winter.

Been coming here for the last 24 years! Can't wait till next Sept. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. Around 75 during the day and down in the 30's at night. The Aspens were in their full splendor. The colors are amazing!

We love it here. Ive been coming here since the late 1970's. The owners are making positive changes every year, while keeping the rustic charm of this place. Definately plan to attemd the pizza night all you can eat pizza party, with the gold mine themed outdoor oven!

I love the cabins! We have stayed in quite a few different ones over the years and they are very quaint and cozy, while also equipped with necessary items to prepare meals and be able to sleep comfortably. Fresh mountain air and scenic views top it all off!!!

Three generations of our family have fished Bishop creek and surrounding lakes/intakes. Cardinal Village is close to camping without "roughing it". My family has been going to Cardinal Village for 15 years and will be going there for years to come.

This is our 3rd year at Cardinal and we look forward to coming ":home" every summer. We get the cabin with the meadow where we play games, croquet, and listen to Bishop Creek babbling among the aspens. This former gold mining camp has lots of charm and the cabins come complete with all appliances, dishes and bedding for your stay....

Nice place to bring the family! Comfortable cabins, friendly and flexible staff, fire pits, fish, horses, and a stream- everything needed for a great trip in the mountains. The location is right in the heart of the Bishop Creek recreation area- loads to do!

Thankful to go up the mountain to bishop creek. It's a lovely quiet place. My family does not like camping like I do, so cardinal village is a perfect compromise. For non-campers it's still pretty rustic. It has the things non-campers want like showers, beds, and a kitchen, but still holds so much fun funky character. The people working there...
