After we had a terrible experience the last time we went (see my review titled “Worst hotel stay ever”), and after I complained to the BBB about how hotel staff dealt with our complaints, the general manager reached out to us and offered us a comped stay, to show us that they can do better. We accepted, and the second...

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Lagonita. Our spacious room with private balcony opened up to a fantastic view of the lake. The fireplace, furniture, kitchen, bathroom, bathroom amenities, bedroom and overall space and cleanliness added to the pleasure of our stay. We spent our time relaxing, reading, hiking around the lake, playing ping-pong and shuffleboard in the Family...

We have stayed in Lagonita for several times already even before this stay in November. That is due to its good location, service, full room kitchen and living rooms separate from bedrooms. Everything is great as usual. People are friendly and helpful. Rooms feature the whole stuff we need to feel comfortable at home. The property contains heated indoor pool...

One of our favorite family get-aways. We own a timeshare here, and have come up at least twice/year for the past 6 years, and have brought dozens of family members and friends here over the years, who always enjoy it, too. I've stayed at my share of high-end hotels, and while Lagonita is definitely not the Ritz (think more mountain...

I think we were here five years ago, based on when they had a fire in the area. We were not happy that time with the unit we had (203) but decided to give it another try since I got an II exchange for phase II. This time we were in unit 118 in building 2. We had a lake...

This is one of our favorite mountain top resorts as it is located right on the lake. During this stay, we were put in a room with a full view of the lake. It is very relaxing to sit on the private balcony and watch the boats and water skiiers. There are lots of family friendly activities every day and...

We stayed on the lake and really enjoyed it. I had been there when I was younger and now brought my own kids which was fun. They really offer a lot of family friendly activities like their game room (ping pong, pool tables, etc), swimming, lake cruises ($10), bingo, black jack, trips to the zoo, nature walk, lakeside bbq, and...

This is an update because we usually stay here in the early spring or October. This time we stayed in June and found that the place comes alive with lots of scheduled events. Starting with a free wine and cheese reception on Friday night with fruit juice and soft drinks for the kids. During the week we took the 2...
