From the moment I stepped into the Crystal Cave, I was in awe of how much inspiration and talent went into making this room so spectacularly beautiful. From the bubbling Jacuzzi, to the stars that sparkle above the bed at night, this place exceeded my expectations for a weekend getaway. The serene environment, complete with a fire place, to a...

This place is, in a word, "amazing!" We stayed in the Crystal cave and we enjoyed it so much we are planning to return to try out different cabins. The attention to detail was more than I expected. It looks and feels like you are inside a real cave. The jetted tub was enormous when they say big enough for...

Take a trip up to Castle Wood at least once a winter. Love this place. Very romantic. All the rooms have wood burning fire places, most have Jacuzzi bath tubs in the cabins (I think the only one w/o is Kate's, and it's super inexpensive). Totally worth the rates and check the website for discounts for multiple nights. Family owned...

We stayed in the Treehouse cottage. It is so cute. The pictures don't do it justice. There is so much attention to detail here. The tree next to the jacuzzi tub has lights in the branches that you see from your loft bed. The wood beams have woodland creatures carved in them. There is a fireplace and a waterfall that...

We stayed in the Indian Forest cabin at the start the Fourth of July weekend. This cabin was cute, cozy and clean. The forest decorations, pond spa, lighting and nature music (optional) set the mood for the feeling of a peaceful and relaxing Native American get away. It was a very pleasurable stay at he quaint Castle Wood Theme Cottages.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a blast! We selected the castle garden cabin which as the title suggests, was a medieval theme. A lot of detail was put into this room. The pictures don't do it justice. We felt like we were on a movie set. These cabins were made for those who like...

So we stayed here a few months ago. Our stay was nice, cottages were just ok for us, butvas many places there are Pros and Cons.. PRO'S- First off we were running really late, so we called for late check in, the guy who answered was very nice and helpful and accommodating us. We arrived and the guy at the...

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in "Antony and Cleopatra" cottage in Castlewood cottages. Pros Though the cottage was very small, it was very cute! No common walls, small independent cottage. Very different from other cabin cottages - felt unreal "out of the world"!! The wall paintings, decoration, artifacts were all Egyptian themed ones. Great location. Walking distance to...

I am sad to see some of the more critical reviews posted on this site. I have been a returning Castlewood patron for quite some time, and have stayed in the Woodland Treehouse, Enchanted Forest, Captain's Quarters, Gone With The Wind, and Castle Garden cabins, a few of them multiple times, and am looking forward to a stay in the...
