The lodge is located in a very convenient area of Big Bear, accessible to most things in the area. The front counter staff were helpful, but not overly friendly. We stayed in the Otter cabin. We had plenty of room, and the cabin came with most things that we needed. The furnishings were very dated, as well as the carpet....

Great little spot to stay. We decided on last minute trip so many places were booked but this spot while not state of the art and trendy was a little old school gem. Made you feel like you were in a cabin in the woods and we got to bring the dog. We had a cabin with a jacuzzi and...

Grey Squirrel is in a good location near Big Bear Lake. The grounds are clean and maintained. We stayed in the "Molly" vacation home located behind the resort on a neighborhood street. It was like staying at grandma's house who stopped decorating back in the 80s, but it was clean, large, and very adequate. If you are looking for anything...

Stayed at the Grey Squirrel just recently. We like staying at various places in the Big Bear area this time of the year because it's fall (nice foliage colors) pleasant weather and it's the off season and at most places the rates are reasonable. You can find some pretty nice places (cabins) for as little as $69.00 a night this...

My family rented a cabin this weekend up in Big Bear Lake at the Grey Squirrel Resort. Our cabin was the "Beaver" which is listed as a small cabin but was fantastic for the three of us!!! Everything was spotless!!! The kitchen is a full kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge plus lots of cooking utensils/pots/pans/baking sheets. The fireplace was my...

We recently stayed in the Mole cabin at the Grey Squirrel Resort. It was the perfect size for my husband and I, as well as our dog. This cabin had a small living room with sofa, TV, and fireplace. Also has a full kitchen and separate bedroom w/ bathroom. We loved the fact that right outside the kitchen door (a...

We stayed in the Mole cabin over Labor Day weekend for our anniversary and loved it! It's suitable for two people, possibly a third on the couch. There is a grill, full kitchen (including fridge), two flat screen TVs, and a fireplace. It was clean and cozy. This specific cabin is located in the back of the resort so it...

This is a very cute place. We found it by reading flyer at the Big Bear Visitor Center. I called and asked a few questions before we drove there. The lady on the other end was very friendly and was not at all annoyed with my questions. When we got there she let us check out the room and it...

This is the only place I stay. I like to stay by myself for the quiet and to just do nothing so I spend a lot of time on the grounds. I have been staying here for the last 5 years and have tried 3 different cabin homes at the resort. They are clean, fully stocked with everything you need...

We stayed in the Plum Ticket rental home at the Grey Squirrel resort in Big Bear. The house had four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was plenty of room for everyone. This is a good option if you have a large group - big living room, large kitchen table, and a lot of room on the deck. This is definitely...
