I wasn't sure what to expect at Abdi's and I absolutely loved it. The area is breathtaking and the views are great every way you look, right from your hammock or breakfast table. Ikbal and Noni are welcoming and kind, making sure you have what you need. Noni's food is delicious and she will also teach you how to make...

It's our second visit to Abdi's. Last visit was 6 years ago. Back then there were only 2 bungalows. No electricity with just kerosine lamps for lighting. It gave us the ultimate back to nature experience. 6 years later, they added a few more. A total of 8 bungalows and a small restaurant. There's electricity! Hotel quality bed and linen....

This is such a beautiful place with very, very friendly owners. The houses are basic, but you forget because the people are so nice and warm. Everything is clean and well organized. I even could help in the kitchen and I learned to make a delicious rendang, onde onde and more. There is a lot to see and to do...

We were so disappointed with our stay at Abdi's. We stayed for 2 nights with our 3 sons and as soon as we arrived were pounced on by Abdi with dollar signs in his eyes. Our room was really poorly maintained with a filthy mosquito net covered in holes, a run down mandi style bathroom and a dirty rag for...

If u r looking for a nature retreat, this is definitely the place in harau valley. The homestay is located by the base of the cliff and overseeing padi field as frontier. The couple who are operating this homestay is very welcoming and make sure u have an enjoyable stay while u r here.

When me and my husband arrived at the homestay, all the rooms were still empty and Yoga, the homestay keeper, allowed us to choose the rooms. We immediately choose the one with the hammock on the terrace. The view is amazing with the rice field and the mountain from a distance, and the important thing is the price is a...

The location is in the middle of the Harau Valley, quit and super relaxing environment, in the middle of the ricefields. Step out of your cabin into the ricefields, it can't be better! The staff is excellent. We have cooked twice with Noni and learned a lot. The food is great! It is very easy to rent a motorbike and...

Absolutely lovely family that run this homestay; They made sure I was well looked after and able to enjoy the area. Cabins are basic but have everything you need. Located in a serene part of Harau Valley that backs onto some stunning green paddy fields, most of the time all you'll be able to hear are the birds and the...
