This was our fisrt stop on our 5 week honeymoon. After a gruelling 15 hour plane ride we were welcomed by the friendly staff and given a room at 8am in the morning. We arrived at our room which was directly facign the massive construction site next door. I immediatly called downstairs and asked for another room away from the... More

There really is something special about this hotel. Even though I have gold status and was not upgraded out of the Oasis rooms I still enjoyed my trip. Its a great base camp based on its location and the people watching is second to none. Room: clean and comfortable. Absolutely nothing special about the Oasis rooms, pretty much a standard... More

I used to travel a lot for business. My main hotel chain over the last 3 years has been Hilton. If you stay at this Hilton, you have lost your mind. Where do I begin. When we checked in, the front desk lady was nice and pleasant. I would not say friendly. She said: "Oh, we have a great room... More

I love the space, large rooms, large lobby, perfect pool, convenient parking (self as well). Make sure you stay at the wilshire tower and not the oasis building. The cabana pool rooms can be nice too. I know many of you think this hotel isn't stylish enough, it's not a boutique kind of decor, right. But somehow, I really love... More

I stayed here for two nights with my family in July and had booked an Oasis Suite. However, for me, the room lacked any character and seemed unconnected with the hotel. After discussing with the excellent Deven on reception I was allowed to view the studio suites and ended up transferring to a room with a large balcony on the... More

Firstly, I had quite high expectations of this hotel being a Beverly Hills icon. However, we were left completely let down. The service at the bar and restaurant is pretty appalling. We waited over 20 minutes just to get a menu and a further 15 minutes to get the drinks. This was consistent whenever we had a drink at the... More

I've now stayed twice at the Beverly Hilton, which is conveniently located in the middle of many things a visitor to LA might want to do. Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
