Stayed at Sirtaj for two nights and had an average experience not commensurate with price or expectations.

Queen room was small but had a sizable bathroom which took up 1/3 of the footprint which was fine as small bathrooms can make small rooms feel even more cramped.

Cleanliness was decent, TV setup was acceptable and the layout was ok if you need a makeshift office setup (though the curtain could only be pulled in one direction which left the desk space in perpetual darkness. Wifi worked fine.

Hotel is furnished in a modern way with chic touches but certain areas definitely needs some refreshing (paint peeling in window frame, shower heads limescale build up).

With the positives out of the way, let’s review the cons:

2 out of the 4 staff members I interacted with were not trained in customer centric behavior / solutions oriented thinking and it hurt the overall experience.

Poor communication skills, lack of trying and no ownership of the guest experience.

I asked for late check out and provided an estimated time which was ok’ed by the day staff who’d inform the night staff. I made sure to ask if anyone was checking into that room immediately after me in which case I’d be happy to leave earlier and I was assured it was fine.

I get a call at 11:15am (11am regular check out time) and was rudely / in direct tone asked when I could leave. After explaining my prior interaction and mentioning 1-2pm, I get a “no, that’s too late. Housekeeping leaves at 1pm.”

Had they informed me that their housekeeping schedule ended so early (which in itself is strange but a viable way to manage staff expenses), I wouldn’t have been frustrated.

Another reception staff member also didn’t even want to look at if anyone was checking in but luckily another more service minded member helped me out (which didnt work out in the end).

3/5 experience.

I want to really thank Batorl even if I apologize for mangling the spelling. She was the best to get us in early and make us extremely comfortable and be helpful. As was all the staff. It is a wonderful boutique hotel for BH. We stay here each visit and am reminded why upon each return. Thank you

I didn't expect much since I bought this room via Hotwire for an inexpensive rate but I was surprised at how nice the room was for such a low price. There was only 1 person working when I checked in on a Friday evening. The lobby is funky but nice. He let me know the bar was not open which surprised me. Also, parking is a little strange since they have to physically walk with you to the lot to let you in and out. The room was very small but had all the amenities I needed. (Not a place to take a romantic date but fine for an overnight). The next morning I was surprised to hear my breakfast was included which too was very nice. I found all the staff to be exceptionally kind. Upon checking out I was not given a receipt since I booked via a Hotwire prepaid rate so I was shocked to see 3 different charges from the hotel on my credit card. Parking is only $28 which is great for LA but $87 for a resort fee???? I didn't see a pool, hot tub, or even a bartender. The hotel is about 4 floors! In addition, they charged my card for the room. Upon arriving home, I called to talk with them and they explained the first 2 charges for parking and resort fees and stated they would remove the room fee. (I also called my credit card company to refute the charge.) All in all, I had a great stay until I realized the outrageous resort fee. I thought the fee said $37, not $87 so it was my fault for not looking more closely. Honestly, they need to ban resort fees at hotels altogether. It should be added to the room rate. Even though I got a great rate when you add in the additional charges I probably would not book again.

Stayed in a “Luxury” king room.
Amenities were not as described on website which is odd considering they charge an amenities fee.

The room:
The room itself was poorly maintained. Unfinished drywall near hinges, loose handle on bathroom door, missing sprinkler head covers, and balcony deck that has seen better days.

Cleaning:
The first thing we noticed in the room was a ziplock bag covering the smoke alarm and it set the tone from there. Stained pillowcases and hair found in bed sheets made the bed less than desirable.

Parking:
Small parking lot. Was instructed to park next to some ladders and other maintenance equipment. Despite being told I’d have unlimited access to my car, it was a hassle each time. I was even once locked out of the garage even when I just needed to grab something from my car.

Check in:
Was checked in by the General Manager (owner?) and it made for a bad experience. Before even looking into the system he said he didn’t think he had any rooms available. (Not what you want to hear when you’ve already made a reservation). Spent the majority of the time checking us in complaining about his staff, how they did their job wrong, and how he had to do work he felt he was above.
This interaction was so uncomfortable it made us not want to go back to the lobby unless we absolutely had to.

Overall:
Based on our stay, I can not recommend you stay here at all . Fake luxury with a bad business model. While it’s possible we were just a one off or got a “bad room”, its pretty disappointing that the 2 star motel we stayed at the night before outclassed the Sirtaj on almost every level.

Stayed here July 26-28. When I arrived, they charged me $25 a night for a glass of cheap wine and coffee in the morning. I tried the wine the first night and didn't bother the second. No one came once for housekeeping. The quality of this hotel was terrible as the rooms were small, bed uncomfortable and staff not friendly.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone - it's dusty and dirty and the water in the shower is not hot. Also, they will add on a nonsense amenity charge for +$87 USD per night in addition to the nightly rate and a deposit of $200. They will tell you the amenities are for the Wi-Fi and breakfast which were indicated as complimentary. For a better stay for less money, stay at the Marriott or Beverly Hilton.

Didn't know quite what to expect but, very pleansantly surprised by this beautiful boutique hotel. First Impression was the front desk check in was extremly friendly and helpful. Just after we arrived in our room we were deliverd 2 glasses of wine and a bucket of ice that we had requested. It was a great way to start our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had room service for breakfast each morning. It was convenient and delicious. Lastly and most importantly was the location. We walked almost everywhere. This hotel could not be in a better location. I would definately stay again!

I had a HORRIBLE experience with this hotel and I would caution anyone looking to book with them.

I booked through a third party website and booked a Double Queen Bed Room when I arrived and checked in I was given a Single Queen Bed Room. I never requested the change and was in town for a surgery and I needed the two beds.

I brought this to the attention of the hotel receptionist. I spoke to the manager who told me that they don’t allow third party websites to book double queen bed rooms that they only do that through their official site and that it was the third party fault for allowing me to book it that way. The only thing I was offered was a room that did not have functioning air conditioning. I was staying there for a few days and that wasn’t going to work. It seems like this hotel is constantly having issues with third party websites and should stop allowing customers to book that way if it’s causing this many issues.

I ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel near by. I have tried multiplied times to dispute being charged but because I did not cancel my reservation within their “24 hour cancellation policy” I am being denied a refund. I was never made aware ahead of time my room would be changed. If I would have known my room was going to be changed from a double to a single bed I would of cancelled my reservation ahead of time. I have also tried to dispute the charge with the third party website and was told it was up to the hotel to process the refund.

Now I’m stuck paying for a room I never stayed in. Their customer service is terrible and would just recommend people to book else where. There is better and nicer hotels in the surrounding area. If you’re going to pay the hefty price just go somewhere else and save yourselves the headache of dealing with this hotel.

Very unpleasant experience. No where near a 4 star hotel. Best western or holiday inn are far better. I booked a king room, was given a queen with a broken television, moved rooms to another queen with a broken television. The floors are not insulated, so every step above can be heard. $260, for a horrible nights sleep. I can only see greed or spite being the reason that the general manager, RJ to refuse to refund - even partially. I was at this hotel for 6 hours.

This property sits in the perfect location; minutes from the heart of Beverly Hills. Major perks include being within walking distance from epic shopping, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, nightlife and museums.
The staff at Sirtaj is amazing! They made every effort to make my family's stay very comfortable and special. Sunny, Lily and Charan are so accommodating, professional and helpful. Throughout the entire stay, they went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcomed and valued. My family will be back and I will be recommending this gem to all my friends/family who need a place to stay in LA. I look forward to singing more praises to the incredible team at Sirtaj Hotel!

As everywhere in LA, parking is at a cost... For the attractions, it's a drive down the highway which is close to the hotel. Everywhere in LA is 20 minutes without traffic and an hour with traffic. If you are focused on the parks and those attractions maybe this hotel isn't the place to stay, it's a great location and across the road from Rodeo Drive, close to Sunset so for me it's a world away from the parks, I would drive the hour to the park and back just to be in that location and if you take the non highway routes its a great way to see more of LA. Uber is a good alternative to driving there and the parks will charge a fee to park also. You can download Uber and get a credit against your first trip which could cover most of the cost of the fare. Hope that helps
