Booked a three night stay here. Two couples. Check in was great. Given a welcome drink on arrival. Rooms were ready. Going up in the elevator it got stuck but we didn't mind cause mum got a fit of the giggles and nearly wet herself. Anyway.. Rooms were modern and smallish in size but had everything we needed. Great shower and coffee making facilities. Had drinks at the bar with other guests which was fun Rodeo drive doesn't bother me. I'm not into wasting tons of money so we went to the Queen Mary in Longbeach instead. Ate once in the restaurant. Food was great. Met many of the staff and they were all friendly and helpful. Met the manager too. He sat with us for a while talking about the hotel etc etc. He was a fun guy. Only thing we didn't like was the noise from the floor above but that was all. Just someone walking back and forward in high heels all night on wooden floor. Hardly the owners fault. Maybe one day he will put thick rugs down. But I wish him well. Hotel is named after his brother so I wish him every success.…
This property sits in the perfect location; minutes from the heart of Beverly Hills. Major perks include being within walking distance from epic shopping, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, nightlife and museums. The staff at Sirtaj is amazing! They made every effort to make my family's stay very comfortable and special. Sunny, Lily and Charan are so accommodating, professional and helpful. Throughout the entire stay, they went out of their way to make us feel incredibly welcomed and valued. My family will be back and I will be recommending this gem to all my friends/family who need a place to stay in LA. I look forward to singing more praises to the incredible team at Sirtaj Hotel!
The location is great! It’s close enough to walk to great restaurants and Rodeo drive. The shower was fantastic. It has a a definite special boutique charm to it. The staff is top notch. The Beverly Wilshire staff wasn’t even as courteous as the Sittaj Staff. Sonny was amazing. His customer service is legendary! We will be back every time we visit BH.
Wanted to support a small boutique hotel right off Wilshire, but so many issues, could not. Room had many problems. A/C not working Shower not working properly Screen door to balcony ( no chairs, no view) could not close. No maintenance staff on hand. Sent Front desk and maids to “fix”. Car parking and retrieval a major pain. Offered a far inferior room as replacement. Awful experience, and offered a reduction in our bill for all our inconveniences a grand total of $ 42!
Hotel location is perfect If you go around. Hotel is cozy, silence and sufficient to have good rest at night. If you also met ‘Sunny’ you are lucky like us. He gave detailed information on everything and made all arrangements easily for our best hotel comfort by the first moment we met . Thank you Sunny you made our trip starting with joy.
The hotel is clean and the location is excellent. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is super friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel. Another plus is that you get good value for your money because it is not too expensive.
Stayed at Sirtaj for two nights and had an average experience not commensurate with price or expectations. Queen room was small but had a sizable bathroom which took up 1/3 of the footprint which was fine as small bathrooms can make small rooms feel even more cramped. Cleanliness was decent, TV setup was acceptable and the layout was ok if you need a makeshift office setup (though the curtain could only be pulled in one direction which left the desk space in perpetual darkness. Wifi worked fine. Hotel is furnished in a modern way with chic touches but certain areas definitely needs some refreshing (paint peeling in window frame, shower heads limescale build up). With the positives out of the way, let’s review the cons: 2 out of the 4 staff members I interacted with were not trained in customer centric behavior / solutions oriented thinking and it hurt the overall experience. Poor communication skills, lack of trying and no ownership of the guest experience. I asked for late check out and provided an estimated time which was ok’ed by the day staff who’d inform the night staff. I made sure to ask if anyone was checking into that room immediately after me in which case I’d be happy to leave earlier and I was assured it was fine. I get a call at 11:15am (11am regular check out time) and was rudely / in direct tone asked when I could leave. After explaining my prior interaction and mentioning 1-2pm, I get a “no, that’s too late. Housekeeping leaves at 1pm.” Had they informed me that their housekeeping schedule ended so early (which in itself is strange but a viable way to manage staff expenses), I wouldn’t have been frustrated. Another reception staff member also didn’t even want to look at if anyone was checking in but luckily another more service minded member helped me out (which didnt work out in the end). 3/5 experience.…
Moldy wall, torn sheets, rotten furniture, super slow elevator, TV not functional, remote control filthy, AC unit has soft blue glow at night which illuminates the room….. REALLY hard to understand how this room was put into inventory in the condition it was in. Deplorable conditions
A small eclectic retro style hotel 1 block off Willshire Blvd. staff is friendly and helpful. Safe area. Decent food and bar. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. Elevator very slow - take the stairs. Worth the money. If you are looking for basic but nice accommodations in Beverly Hills at an affordable rate this might be your place!
Very unpleasant experience. No where near a 4 star hotel. Best western or holiday inn are far better. I booked a king room, was given a queen with a broken television, moved rooms to another queen with a broken television. The floors are not insulated, so every step above can be heard. $260, for a horrible nights sleep. I can only see greed or spite being the reason that the general manager, RJ to refuse to refund - even partially. I was at this hotel for 6 hours.
