I stayed at this inn for a week and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. All of the staff, from the people at the desk to the kitchen staff and servers, were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The bed in my room was so comfortable that after I left, I called the Rose Garden Inn to...

If you want a basic hotel which has a bus stop outside, helpful, friendly staff and quite a comfortable bed, then this is for you. I can only write about the room I occupied, but I slept well. My room had a tiny balcony so I could have the door open for fresh air and sun. They've tried really hard...

Staff was friendly, morning breakfast was good. Grounds were full of flowers and smelled lovely. Rooms were a little old and outdated and were in need of a redo. It was clean but just older and its charm didn't quite overcome the badly needed renovations. Also there was little to no parking in the lots so you may have to...

Fifteen years ago, I went to Berkeley, CA, for a meeting, and stayed at the Rose Garden Inn. At that time, it was nice, and I wanted to go back ... big mistake! We booked this B&B, for June 5-7, 2015. As we rounded the corner, into the neighborhood, there was a shooting. The neighborhood is now run down, and...

Room was no more thab ok. No AC, which is fine since opening a window allows for air into the otherwise stuffy room. The problem was noise during the second night of my stay. There was a party in a room below, and the smokers outside were really noisy. The front desk was notified twice, but no serious action was...

Went to Berkeley for reunion, stayed in this hotel. The place is classic, charming and has a lot of nice roses. Service was good, we had some minor complain about housekeeping but nothing serious. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I can recommend the place.

I decided to give this place a try because most of the negative reviews seemed pre-renovation, and I'm glad I did! Room was exceptionally quiet and dark, got a great night sleep. Staff are extremely helpful and setting is quaint. Breakfast is one of the better ones I've seen for free. Best for people traveling without cars, although they do...

We stayed one night so to be close to family and the University. A lovely inn with a great breakfast. Our room was reasonable in price ($179 + taxes) and very clean. A B&B type room with bathroom and sitting area. Lots of stairs if that's a problem although the lower level has ramps.

I booked my stay through a travel site and expected a so-so experience but was I wrong. After calling and being guided to their parking area, I was buzzed in. The hotel has a small, nice feel to it. The office is hard to find without signage at night but the hotel manager Jerimiah was great! He greeted me, gave...

The hotel itself is gorgeous, especially with the courtyard. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. However, what really made our stay was the impeccable service! I will absolutely stay here every time I am in the area!
