Stayed here because prices in the area were high and it was the cheapest place we could find that had decent enough reviews, we paid $119 +tax each night with AAA rates, for a Saturday and Sunday night. We were in an upstairs King room, the room was fairly clean, but could have been better, and they are small. When... More

Yes I miss the expense account but it does make me work harder to find the right place on a budget. I had a meeting in Oakland in the morning and was off to visit aunt the following day. Could not pass up an afternoon and evening playing tourist in my mom's hometown of Berkeley. Knights Inn met the obligations... More

Stayed five nights. Relatively good location (location of the hotel is OK but there were always few streets occupied by homeless people between KI and 4th Street/Amtrak and between KI and Downtown Berkeley; never felt unsafe though). Close to Bart (North Berkeley). Bare minimum breakfast but polite and helpful staff (could still park after checkout time). Clean and nice rooms.... More

Meeting a friend in the Berkeley area made a hotel necessary. Being in the city center, it was a bit noisy, but not bad with the windows closed. Parking in the center court was a little tight, but it felt safe. The bed was fine, the bathroom outdated but the water was hot and the shower worked, and the toilet... More

We had the misfortune of actually staying at a Knights Inn in Berkeley, a Wyndham Hotel in the middle of May this year. We booked our room online that very day, early, using a credit card. We got in about 10 p.m., and I was told by the front desk after a long drive into a bad neighborhood none the... More

Knights Inn is an old style motor inn that has been completely overhauled and updated. I stayed for 2 nights while visiting the UC campus and found the location great, and room to be comfortable and fine for a short stay. The breakfast is just coffee and cereal and pastry that you collect from the small lobby. Price was reasonable.

My friend and I stayed at the Knight's Inn for one night before flying out of Oakland Airport the next morning. I have stayed at budget places around the world and I have to say that Knight's Inn is one of the best I have ever visited. There was ample parking on attractive grounds and the room was flawless...microwave, fridge,... More

Berkeley as a city has a serious "improvement opportunity" with its accommodation situation -- it is really difficult to find a good place to stay at a reasonable price. So my four-star rating is for a motel in Berkeley as opposed to a motel in the wider world. The Knights Inn was clean and comfortable with decent tv selection and... More

We stayed at the Knights Inn in Berkley. It was very nice and the desk clerk was wonderful. Sleeping was very comfortable and rooms were very clean . I would recommend this hotel. We walked everywhere we went very quaint little place. Coffeemaker in room, fridge and microwave. Nice TV and WiFi.
