Really nice little place in the Santa Cruz Mountains... set amidst soaring pine trees, the setting is great. Room are nice and comfortable. Nice little pool. Guy who checks you in in the evening couldn't be nicer.

We were impressed with this property. Apparently it has changed hands recently. The rooms are clean, nice refrigerator in the room, located just a block or two from the middle of town. They have a nice little dining room with available cereal, waffels, coffer, etc....More
This little hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere, but was exactly as advertised. A charming little spot nestled in the trees with excellent staff.

Great location close to Big Basin Redwood state park. Very clean, super very nice and attentive management. The property is very clean and gorgeous in the woods. Great dining and shopping close by. Nice quiet location.
This was a great place to stay. Clean, Friendly, and helpful staff. Also very close to Santa Cruse and Big Basin. There is a wonderful Italian Resturant and Bakery run by the same owners near the hotel. I will go back!

Hi - my fiancee and i are allergic to and generally just detest the smell of cigarette smoke. Given this is an older motel, anyone know if there is the lingering odor from years past? Cigarette smoke isn't something that leaves just by switching furniture....
