This is the third time we have stayed here. It is almost like a home away from home. Each room is themed, many of them suites. They need to redo some of the stairway carpets, but otherwise, we couldn't be happier. Best for us, right across the street from excellent birding. We have remarkable free breakfasts either at La Palapa...

This was such a great place to stay on our trip along the California coast! We were in the Provence Room - decorated with toile and ticking. There are fireplaces in every room (which we used) as well as complimentary snacks, sodas and water. Very generous! We had complimentary wine during their happy hour at the Mexican restaurant next door...

Several friends spent a few days in the Morro Bay Area, and the Baywood was an excellent base. The beach is directly across the street, a little nature preserve is just a 15 minute walk, and the enchanting Elfin Forest Preserve is nearby. Los Osos is a peaceful, quiet "suburb" of Morro Bay, and we enjoyed it. The inn was...

We have been staying at Baywood Inn for many years now. We have found that staying in an upstairs room or suite is quieter than staying in the rooms on the ground floor. Beware there is NO elevator, however.

As a few reviewers have pointed out, this isn't a true Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are thematic, like many B&Bs, and it certainly has the quiet charm of many B&Bs, but the second B is quite removed. Instead of heading to a dining room or patio for a home-cooked breakfast, you either stroll across the street to a cafe...

Always a pleasure to stay here. Wine hour, breakfast, nice rooms. In room fireplaces. What more can you ask for? Complimentary drinks and snacks in room. Friendly staff. Always look forward to coming back.

We have stayed here quite a few times over the last 10 years, and have ALWAYS enjoyed our room. Breakfast is either in the restaurant next door, or at the shop across the street from the inn. There are two floors, but no elevator.

We have stayed here twice, so it was worth returning to - from the UK. A great place to break your journey travelling on the Pacific Highway. Very comfortable and good value accommodation, but don't expect fine dining. Breakfast at the Back Bay Cafe is excellent, and the local bar well worth a visit. Although not relevant to us on...

Live in Granny's attic or Santa fe you'd love the well decorated rooms. Each room was nicely decorated, well lit and we maintained temparature. The rooms are all morro bay facing where you could watch the awesome view and see some people do kayak in the morning. The inn offers free breakfast in the mexican hotel next to the facility....

I wanted to recommend the Inn because my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The area was quiet and peaceful and we were able to unwind and relax. The reasons I cannot recommend the Baywood Inn are the following. First, it's not a true B and B. It's a converted two story office building. There is no central...
