We were travelling from Phoenix to Angels Camp, CA. Knew I would have to rest overnight as it was at least a 12 hour trip. Figured about 8 hours to Bakersfield, actually took a little over 9 with rest stops, gas, etc., so I chose to book 1 night in Bakersfield. Not looking for anything fancy, just a bed and...

This place was affordable and very clean. I was impressed at how nice it was for such a great last minute booking and for such a low price. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend it if you're hoping to not pay an arm and a leg without sacrificing on being treated like you're a person!

I read the reviews and knew this was an older hotel. I don't mind old - but I am not okay w filthy and poorly maintained. Made an online reservation. Arrived at 10:30 pm. The lobby was locked and my husband stood outside for over 20 minutes, completing our reservation by passing forms, credit cards and IDs through a security...

Definitely in need of a little TLC but its not bad. Our bathroom didn't have very good light and could have used some sprucing up! The bed was comfortable and clean. The place was also pretty quiet so I got a good nights sleep. The location is great with lots of close places to eat and easy highway access. Overall,...

Clean room, Daily service was great, and close to fast food. The breakfast was lacking but your so close to many fast food places. This is my second stay here for a conclave and I will continue to stay each year. The area feels safe and I think it is a great place at a great price. Room did have...

Im a locaal of bakersfield and this hotel is located next to all kinds of shops and restraunts. You have lots of shopping stores and a variety of restraunts. The hotel itself is modern and has many rooms with parking under the rooms.

Close to the highway. Very nice large rooms with a short divider between the king bed and sofa bed. The sink is separate from the bathroom which makes it nice. All rooms are inside rooms making it very secure. Room and fixtures were very clean and in good shape. Lots of fast food places to eat are within short walking...

No coffee maker. No safe. Breakfast was pathetic. No ground floor rooms. Clean and tidy. Had a fridge. Friendly. Noise from surrounding properties and the railway line started very early in the morning.

Needed a bed for the night en route to LA from the National Parks. Room was clean and the bed comfortable, but this is place is neither modern nor luxurious. If you want somewhere cheap to sleep for one or two nights, this place is fine.

It's fine for 1 night stay. The room is clean, however not modern and not nice. It's simply ok for dropping to bed if you are tired. The AC is very loud but cools the room quickly. The shower also is not fancy but does its job. The breakfast does not exist. The food they offer is not for humans...

“We didn't need the space, but if you are looking for an accessible room, this may not be your best choice. All they had left the night we checked in was an accessible room, which wasn't a big deal for us. The bathroom is accessible, but I don't know how someone would get a wheelchair to the bed, as the dresser stickes out too close to the door, creating a very tigh point I'm not sure an average wheelchair would fit through.”

“If you prefer not to take the stairs or need to take the elevator, ask for a room near the elevator doors - otherwise the walk can be long.”
