We stayed there for 3N/4D and it just wasn't enough! The comfort in the room, the yummy, nutritious, authentic Kerala food, the very helpful and enterprising Mr. Andrew, the peace and quiet, the view from the balcony, the cool breeze in the face! The food was simply beyond tasty, at very reasonable prices - there is something for all tastebuds! We visited during COVID-19 times and all precautions were taken. We happened to celebrate a birthday there, of which the whole staff became a part and it just doubled our joy to be sharing the special occasion with them. Mr. Andrew was beyond helpful - he was even kind enough to lend us his motorcycle to visit a nearby temple since it was a birthday. The room was clean and what we really loved the most is the master console next to the bed with all controls at one place - no getting up to find buttons to turn on lights, stumbling in the dark - you can turn on the bathroom light right next to you and then find your way safely in the middle of the night. You could even turn on Do Not Disturb sign and control the AC and fan from there. Thoughtful convenience! The balcony was to die for - we spent most of our time in the balcony, whether it was chatting away or eating breakfast or lunch (not dinner because there were mosquitoes in the evenings :P) or sipping tea/ coffee, or just soaking in the morning sunshine with breeze in our hair. Truly rejuvenating. They have a swimming pool and a spa as well which looked very inviting indeed, but was off limits due to Covid-19. Next time! ;) There is a basketball court and the hotel lends badminton/ table tennis equipment too. Watching the sunset standing on the bridge over the water, is beautiful. All in all, we had an amazing time. Best hotel experience ever - and I've stayed in quite a few, so that is saying something! ;) You will not regret it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. PS: Do NOT miss trying the Puttu, Vegetable stew and Butter chicken!…
excellent very friendly staff food second to none wery wery good rooms very clean linen changed every day summing up very good value for Money brilliant manerger highly recommended been to hotels all over the w0rld for a four star hotel this is more like five
Room was fine, clean and spacious enough. Good balcony. The lady receptionist, Tshandrala (?) was very good providing required information and made us feel very welcome. Hotel ameneties are oke. It felt bit formal. It's a bit remote from old Cochim. You don't just walk out and find entertainment around the corner, but transfers good. Breakfast was average. Good hospitality. All in all nice stay.
We traveled 6 weeks days in India with our 3 children and it is the best place we stayed. All the staff make you feel like you are at home, maybe because themselves feel like home in this hôtel. Andrew the manager is running this place like a great family, He distills a spirit of peace and kindness that makes you feel like staying without counting the days. Room was very confortable and spacious and perfectly clean. Food was very good. Location is very nice, away from the busy center, but not far from fort kochi, 5 minutes with auto rickshaw, then 5 minutes with the Ferry, and every day it was a lovely path, several times we had the chance to see dolphins when crossing to fort kochi.
Beautiful hotel with big rooms and an excellent staffing team, the manager Andrew was very helpful and very professional, going above and beyond to make sure his guests enjoy a great experience. From PJ you can take a rickshaw to Vypin Jetty and use the ferry to cross over which is a way quicker and cheaper mode of transport to fort Kochi. Cherai beach is about a 30 minute uber drive from PJ, The airport is about an hour away using the toll roads on the national highway.
