We stayed there one night and it was a nightmare. At first the room seemed ok but after paying we realised that the windows were not sealed properly and at night mosquitoes invaded our bedroom. We managed somehow to attach our mosquito net and did not complain about this. However the fan in the room barely worked (we always stay...

Anugerah Hotel is a good, family-run budget option in Bondowoso with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms - it was simple but clean. They also organize good tours to Ijen Mountain. The owners speak English very well!

We stayed here for 3 nights and went to Ijen in the transport organised through the hotel, shared between 4 of us. The room is very clean, the toilet basic but again clean, TV with lots of english speaking channels and staff that are extremely friendly which was a breath of fresh air after quite challenging travel through Java. Wifi...

The location is fine and the building adequate but what really makes The Anugerah Hotel a stand out budget option in Bondowoso is Angie and her staff: bright, cheerful, welcoming and endlessly obliging. I stayed 2 nights. I booked a motorbike driver through the hotel to visit the Ijen crater and afterwards a waterfall and coffee factory. All the arrangements...

Very friendly atmosphere, and they offer well-priced tours to Ijen. Some of the management speak perfect English. Their restaurant is a bit limited for vegetarians, and laundry is per item in stead of per kg.

We stayed at Anugerah hotel and restaurant for 2 nights in a standard double room with fan for 125.000Rp + tax (137.500Rp) per night. The room was nice and clean and had a TV with a lot of different channels (international). The bathroom was Indonesia style, so standing, but for the price we payed we couldn't complain. If you want...

Our room was kinda okay, but in bad shape (for instance the fan of our 'fanroom' didn't work and wasn't repaired). Cleaning staff was friendly, though. But what killed our experience was the following: Staff at the counter seemed friendly and, although we usually don't do organized trips, we were convinced to go for their (for us expensive) 'blue fire'...

the staff were very kind and helpful during our stay here and the price wasn't bad. However the place itself is a bit run down, the rooms are pretty dirty and the bathrooms too (plus they smell pretty bad). The breakfast is local - rice, soup or Gado-Gado which wasn't ideal but I couldn't criticise this too much as we...
