My husband and I had a great time here. It's the perfect place to meet people from all over. Our favorite restaurant was Pescari. The food was beyond and our Bartender Robin was amazing. He made us the most delicious cocktail "leche de tigere" it was refreshing and the coconut + pineapple taste was perfect for our tropical vacation. The service was very attentive and everyone was so sweet and welcoming. Did I me tion the food was SO good? We will for sure be back and come straight to Pescari to hang out with Robin again!

I don't even know where to begin in trying to explain how super fantastic our Vow Renewal Vacation was. WE were a total of 15. Most stayed in the CHIC Mansion and the others in swim out rooms. To say that our stay was unbelievable would be an understatement. I am a travel agent and don't have too high of expectations because I am usually disappointed, but not at Royalton Chic Punta Cana. I've practically been to every island and this trip overall, was the BEST!!!! The Mansion itself is breathtaking and the property's beauty and size was perfection. Our Butler was Hector. He was most professional, the kindest, has great anticipation, went above and beyond for all 15 of us. Who does that??? Especially these days. He is an asset to your company. We had a death in our family while vacationing and Hector handled it with empathy and understanding. My family will never forget you and talk about you practically daily, Wilson in the Diamond Club is magnificent!!! So full of warmth, professionalism, kindness, and care. You made this vacation top notch!!! All the servers, bartenders(Marco), housekeepers, chefs, were DIVINE! I know it seems unreal, but I am being 100! If you can, stay at the Mansion, if not, at least opt for Diamond Club-you won't regret it. Chaniel was my wedding assistant and was awesome as well, From the beginning, planning the ceremony and communication with Beatriz and others was very good and clear. Having recently stayed at the Chic Royalton in Uvero Alto I can honestly say I had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is simply beautiful and very well presented. Check In was super efficient and we were quickly shown to our room. The room we were assigned was in Building 9 to the rear of the complex but that wasn’t an issue for us. The room was well presented, clean and fresh upon arrival. The room had two double beds as we were two friends sharing. There was also the frosted shower screen for privacy and a separate toilet too. This was ideal for us and more than adequate. The balcony was spacious and the furniture was fine. The chairs do need a back cushion though as the frame is uncomfortable to lean against. The jacuzzi bath was used once and made an awful high pitched noise, which was quite annoying but again this wasn’t an issue for us as my friend used it out of curiosity more than anything else. Moving on; the complex is immaculately presented and cleaned all day by the staff. The main lobby area and bar are quite relaxing if you want an area away from the pool. The pool area is large enough for all guests and the cabanas are a great addition. We took advantage of these on two separate days and each time we had a great day. The staff were attentive and accommodating to all your needs too. The private jacuzzi pool is definitely a bonus and very relaxing. The beach is lovely. We arrived to a white sandy beach that was free of seaweed. Unfortunately this didn’t last the whole holiday as by the time we left the seaweed had piled up and whilst staff were making efforts to clear this it wasn’t enough to be kept on top of. That’s nature for you though. It did spoil the beach for me personally as I do love to walk along the beach and have the waves lap my feet but not so much with seaweed. The sun loungers on the beach are adequate though can get a little uncomfortable after a lengthy period of sunbathing. The restaurants on the complex were great. We didn’t use Pescari so cannot comment on this one but the others were all great. We visited Vespa on four occasions, Taj on two, Hunter twice and the Gourmet buffer restaurant on several occasions too during our stay. Each restaurant has its own quirks but the food in all of them was lovely and cooked how you ask too. The staff were attentive and welcoming too. My only suggestion would be that they introduce reservations via the Portal on the TV as you cannot always get in your restaurant of choice if you go out after around 7:30pm. The choice to make a reservation would be beneficial for everyone and avoid disappointment. The pool scene is good with a large pool in the middle of the complex and several pools around this including a jacuzzi pool and a swim up bar. The pools are maintained but there are loose tiles that could be replaced when the pool is next maintained and drained. Overall we had a great stay but the resort is on the smaller side in comparison to others in the Uvero Alto and surrounding areas. This gave it a very intimate vibe at times and felt a little claustrophobic at times when trying to escape and get some alone time from everyone including your friends (haha). I would recommend Chic for those looking at staying here. As a British visitor I did notice the hotel was mainly occupied by American and Canadian citizens but that wasn’t an issue for us at all. Royalton chic punta cana was 10/10 First if you have the option to upgrade to diamond club DO IT! All the extra access you get is incredible. Not to mention butler service. Our butler Juan De León was amazing! Hands down the best butler we could’ve asked for. Anything we needed from a private body guard (lol) to 3 bags of potato chips per day he was there and always so helpful. We will definitely remember this trip as Juan’s girls :) There is plenty of entertainment and always something to keep you busy from morning til night! The vibe team definitely does a great job keeping you busy! Especially Osiri. The nightclub also makes things more fun— it definitely gets hot and packed. The chic girls are also beautiful and sweet! We met a couple but Rose is the one I remember most. The bar staff are also incredible. Ruth, jiminez and robin were my most favorite! They were so sweet and patient with my friend and I while we practiced our Spanish. Not to mention the drinks were always perfect! Most other resorts don’t even give you enough alcohol to get buzzed and you’ll have to drink all day. NOT HERE! You definitely get what you pay for which is great! Finally even the front desk staff are great. Angel and Enrique were so kind and helpful always going above and beyond for our enjoyment. We definitely met a lot of people here and the time was well spent. From food to entertainment to drinks it’s an amazing time. This is more of a party atmosphere so for 2 twenty somethings it was perfect but maybe not for family’s so keep that in mind. Been to quite a few all-inclusive resorts over the years and this one just wasn't up to scratch. I think as others have said recently the Building 4 butler service is just not a service at all. The butler was so disinterested giving a tour of the resort. The free premium bottle of alcohol didn't come until the 4th day after asking a few times. The butler also ran a bath at 3pm in the afternoon while we were at the beach. We didn't request one at all, never mind in the middle of the day. We were sent dinner reservations that were meant for other guests and then when we did make a reservation with our butler we turned up at the restaurant they didn't have a booking in the system for us. I had to go to Diamond Club lounge to figure out what was going on and Wilson did help to squeeze us in. It was more relaxing avoiding our butler for our stay. Good aspects were the beach, although the waves are strong on this side of the island. The Diamond Club private room bar near the pool was also great. The ceviche restaurant is good. The service at the other restaurants is slow. I'm used to slow at resorts but this was so slow. One night the buffet was closed completely for unexplained reasons. Luckily we had room service (room service can be a lottery with what you get compared to what you ordered) but I don't know what other people did that night with no room service. The main pool was really dirty around the sides and didn't look like it had been skimmed on a regular basis. Don't think we'll be returning to a Royalton resort.…

I want to say how impressed we were with the hostesses at the buffet especially to Kaira, who treated us really good. The hostesses are friendly and receptive Yingrid was also a great hostess.I must express the good services by the waiters and the waitresses, they are well dressed and professional; Jorge, Angel and Christino they all made us feel so welcomed and special. Kisairo and Emilio are managers but are engaged with the guests and help out with their staff, they are excellent. At the Vespa, Yinette was the manager when we had dinner, you could see her doing her work and managing all the servers and handling some difficult customers it was truly impressive. Jorge ensured that are beverages were always topped off. The food was good. At the Hunter steak house ; Kaira welcomed us in, Angel was a great and fast waiter, he ensures that customers are served quickly. Le petit Filet was awesome and done perfectly, mash potato nice and hot. Taj Restaurant we were received by Yingrid who is so professional and sweet, the decor in the restaurant is elegant. Salvador served us butter chicken and it was delicious. At the Pescara, my wife and I were treated extremely well by the friendly Wilkins who treated us like family, he served us and ensured that we enjoyed our experience. Johan was very good as well to ensure that nothing was missing. The bartender Diego outside of all the restaurants made us a few specialty drinks and he is a real mixologist, we were never disappointed with his creations. The pool bars bartenders were great, Rosa was a great beach and pool waitress. I forgot a few names but they were really all nice. Juan Carlos and big Papi did a great job with their fitness classes and managing their gym. The gym was really well kept. I was impressed with the entertainment team Osiris, Julio and Rey to get the customers going and ensuring that the crowd is engaged. Rey was friendly and you could tell although he was tired at the end, he would find energy to dance and entertain the crowd. I also found the luggage handlers friendly. Had fun maybe 3.5 - 4 star. Stayed 9 nights during May. Had high expectations which were not quite met, though Guest Services did try & help. It's a nice smaller resort with good staff, especially want to give a call out to the ladies who keep the drinks flowing whether you are on the beach or poolside. Standard rooms are nice, though like all the newer resorts for some reason they want toilets open, ie glass door with openings top or bottom with no main bathroom door. The toilets have a great strong flush but because there is no closed door you hate to flush during the night so you don't wake your partner. Not a deal breaker just think it's a weird design. You come with high expectations of entertainment, which is fun on some nights but definitely more fun Fri - Mon, so seems to be targeted to the long weekend crowd. Plus more targeted to males with the scantily dressed Angels walking around & their evening sets. Feel like there could have been more live singers/bands than DJ. Central bar a good meeting place & was busy most nights. I liked white party, singer on Sundays & burlesque/circus show. Biggest let down for this resort was the food and restaurants. For a small resort it's OK just to have 4 a la cartes & buffet but at least have them all open every night. I had been there 4 days before I could get into a restaurant, by this time Guest Services stepped in to help us. I had spa appointments at 5pm a couple of days so no way could I be in line at 6pm to get on a waitlist. If you waited whike 7pm you had no chance. Guest Services was very helpful on this which our group was grateful for. The buffet was small & very average. By day 3 I had had enough of it. Of the a la cartes the Japanese was our favorite. Italian our least favorite, though we waited 90 mins with just an appetizer and had to ask for our main course which didn't help.Plus three out of our party of 8 that night got very ill the next day (and through the rest of vacation) and it may not have been that restaurant but it made them not want to go again. We met people who had visited several times before & felt there was a big difference in staff and quality of food this year. Right now I doubt I would recommend, and feel bad that several of our party were not impressed and I had recommended it. Maybe in time if improvements were bad on food & restaurants I may go back.…

This chic Royalton punta cana has superb personnel from the Sue Chef Miguel and waitress Leydi and Wilkins in the cabana area, but Also the fitness team Eric Big papi and J Carlos treated us like royalty every day! We definately want to come back ASAP!! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to eat relax and have a fun stay!!!
