Detailed Reviews
Stayed in this hotel for 02 nights.
The rooms are quite old, this being the oldest hotel to be in Chittagong next to hotel Agrabad.
Well, at first one gets the feel of a small room with old settings but over time, u start liking it!
The best parts are 100% powerback, a bar (a luxury in Bangladesh) and very good food.
The worst, a little renovation will indeed help.
But overall with 30$ a day, its worth it!!!!!

+1
Great location in Agrabad area. Clean rooms with average bed & bathroom. Food is tasty & there's a bar as well. I think it's less than a three star hotel but a decent one with limited facilities. Looks like a family friendly hotel but should be a better choice for business or solo visit.
Complimentary buffet breakfast is average but tasty. Free wifi. Staff & front desk is okay. A little overpriced room rate but you should bargain or compare online for a better tariff.
I would recommend it for a night or two.

The rooms look bit classic. Not that much modern. Gives 90s vibes. And some are modern style. Classic and non classics are not defined in the booking option. But you can see how they look and decide. The expiriance was good.

Stayed for two nights for business trip. Fairly large room. Cleaning can be improved. Breakfast is basic but the fresh juices & variation are very good. The security guys and other staffs are very friendly and co-operative.

Stayed for four nights on business.
Fairly large room and depending on which you get you might even be able to use the desk for work (I couldn't fit my legs under it but my colleague was more fortunate .. or perhaps just has shorter legs) Cleaning can be improved but the hotel is old so some things that look like dirt are just .. age spots
Frequent power cuts but reliable diesel generator kicks in so I advice staying on higher floors if you are facing the back since the noise is deafening.
Breakfast is basic but the fresh juices are very good.
The security guys are a friendly bunch and so are actually the elderly waiters too - once they start to like you.
The hotel is used for crew changes (ships) so there will certain days be more people and others less.
Yes, don't try to get hold of a blow drier unless the hairdresser is open (which is where they get them from) which is 0930 to 2130 every day of the week.
The main problem were the mosquitos that managed to get in - get a spray can from housekeeping and spray your room (don't forget to turn off the ac/fan which is by the way one of the noisiest I have encountered) before going to bed.

Worst place ever. The stuff were unprofessional. Unfriendly. The rooms were dirty. Disgusting place. The toilet was so uncleaned. Found condoms underneath the bed. They offered alcohol as I don't consume alcohol.

I have no info on rates etc., arranged by shipping agent. But it was a pleasant one night stay transferring from 4 weeks on an offshore drillship to the airport the morning after. Very pleasant bar (after 4 weeks dry ship) and that's not obvious in Bangla Desh. 3 good restaurants. Recommended.

No individual Air Conditioners for single room. Its centralized. Non smokers would face problem in breathing the smoked circulated air in single room accommodation. Room attendants don't have the courtesy in knocking the door. They just barge in the room with the spare keys. One day i was sleeping in the room, and suddenly i found a room attendant just barged in and kept water bottle without even saying a word. Breakfast menu is same everyday. Internet (wi fi) connection is very poor. Sometimes you don't even get signals. Internet speed is disgusting.Television in the room is very old model with full of local channels, there were few international channels. The Television picture and sound quality is poor.
One good thing about this hotel is that, it is in center of the city. Food quality is good.

Rooms really needs update. Lot of mosquittos and no cosy bar to drink some. Also tl tube lighting in the room. I came in late so no time to look around very much. The public bar room was so dark that i need to use my phones lighter to order some fried chicken (safe) and cocacola. I left the hotel next morning early. Breakfast was small but good.
