As a port city and important destination for the business, Chittagong is a little expensive than other cities of Bangladesh. I found this hotel is great with great value for your money. The restaurant on the top floor is excellent with a wide range of choice ( a little pricey?). The location of the hotel is in the heart of Chittagong called GEC circle. Rooms are clean, spacious and toiletries are good. The internet was free in room with a cable connection. TV and decoration is also good. The tariff is within range BDT 2,000 to 4,000 (USD 30 to 60). U can walk to SANMAR most famous shopping complex which is just opposite to hotel. In GEC circle you will get lot of choices of food which includes CANDY (Fragmented rice with mutton only for 65 taka), HANDY, The Pavilion (buffet for only 10 USD).

We had two night stay here.... The hotel is located on a busy road so rooms facing the road are quite noisy. Fortunately mine was at the rear and fairly quiet. The room itself was fine with everything i wanted and a quite functional bathroom.

The breakfast is sufficient, nothing remarkable. It will see you on your way!

We ate out both nights are nearby restaurants. So, the hotel served us well as a base to looking around Chittagong. YMMV

My walima had kacchi, roast, kebab. They said that per person must get 2 pieces of mutton but during the food surving, a different picture was seen. My mother-in-law told me long after the program, when she passed by the kitchen, she saw them separating the mutton in another bucket before serving. My father is a good man, so he paid full payment without making any trouble in front of the guests. We are totally ashamed. My wife still insists, we used to eat kacchi without white and mutton at Walima.
Shame on you Lord's Inn.

The hotel is very clean and the staff speaks English. I'd say it's the best in the price range in Bangladesh. The reception is very flexible and breakfast is good. They also have dinner buffet for $10 with nice big fish and lots of meat and deserts to choose from.

Visited friends in Chittagong and booked this hotel via booking. Com. Check in was easy. Nice location. Room was very tired and walls had marks everywhere. The bathroom needs updating. Bed was nice. Slept well. Checkout was easy and simple too ♥️

This hotel was chosen for me as it is in the northern part of the city towards the outskirts of Chittagong. The lobby is accessed by lift or stairs on the second floor. Then the rooms start from higher levels and the restaurant is on the eighth floor. The power blacked out frequently during my two night stay. The room itself was comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean. The free buffet breakfast is just ok but the dinner menu is a bit better. There is new construction right in front of the hotel, a major overpass project so the traffic is heavy after 7am and throughout the day until 8pm. A CNG to the airport before the rush hour took around 1 hour. Acceptable quality hotel for a short stay only.

If you are expecting a place to stay only for business purpose in Chittagong within affordable price (50+ USD) then this a good choice to my understanding.

This hotel is located on a busy main road where banks, restaurants, different business houses are around, however there are lesser crowds in front of this hotel which makes the entrance to and exit from the hotel convenient. They have airport pick up and drop service.

Staff are helpful and pay right amount of attentions to their guests. My colleagues (from other countries) who stayed there with me, highly appreciated the hotel just for their service.

Rooms are like football grounds, the biggest hotel rooms in Chittagong I should say. They are clean and well maintained. Basic amenities/ toiletries are provided. Towels and linens are changed everyday (they also smell good).

A rooftop restaurant is there that serves continental, local and a bit of Chinese dishes. For launch and dinner they have both a la carte and buffet (I prefer the buffet there). Once I was there with my family members and for my two little kids they did not charge anything at all, we only paid for the adults.

Very good internet connection (that time it was wired) free with the room (pls check/ negotiate). I suppose, if you stay there for long for some days, then you can negotiate the price and services.

My best experience there so far was an Indian Dish called 'Paneer Tikka Masala'... to me it was the best one of its kind so far (I even didn't get such tasty one elsewhere, even in India)...!

You may check the rest of it by yourself... I recommend..!

We stayed at the Lords Inn Hotel from the 19th April 2012 to the 5th May 2012. The purpose of our visit was a holiday to visit my husband's family.
We were made very welcome indeed. The rooms were very clean and tidy with Fresh Fruit and Newspapers every day which were complimentary. We had housekeeping every day who were very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast every morning with self service. All the restaurant staff were very friendly and also couldn't do enough for you. One main person Zihed was amazing. Instead of us getting our own breakfast he would bring it to us each morning. He would also make sure that we had the same table each morning overlooking the city. Even when he wasn't on duty he would make sure that one of the other waiters looked after us very well. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times in the evenings and found there to be plenty of food choices.
We had a very early start when returning to the uk and the hotel made sure that the free courtesy car was there ready to take us to the airport which it was.
I would recommend this hotel very much and will definately stay there again when visiting my husbands family which will hopefully be early next year when we return for my sister in law's wedding.
Well done to everybody working at the hotel.
