Nestled in a picturesque and convenient location, The Loren at Pink Beach offers a tranquil retreat with stunning views and a private atmosphere that guests have lauded. Its well-appointed rooms, which are spacious and consistently praised for cleanliness, come with large balconies overlooking the beautiful beach. While its attentive service and luxurious amenities are often highlighted, some visitors have mentioned service inconsistencies and disruptions from loud music. Despite its many accolades, the hotel's value is questioned due to high prices and additional fees.

My husband and I stayed at this truly lovely resort last week for five nights in celebration of our 26th anniversary in a gorgeous king balcony suite on the second floor. Sahlay did a very nice job checking us in complete with Prosecco and a tour including the wonderful spa where we booked a facial and massage (both of which were among the best we've ever had!).

The balcony was just so amazing that we had room service breakfast there every morning. Jeronna did a great job bringing breakfast to us every day. She was always very punctual and had amazing attention to detail making sure everything was right!

Days we spent the day on the spectacular beach we also received excellent service there as well. Of particular note were Ron, Santano and Natalie who really took the time to know us, take photos, and take excellent care of us. The water is absolutely turquoise and a group of parrot fish hung out by the shore every morning.

On Wednesday we did the perfume workshop at Lili Bermuda in St. George's which I highly recommend!

Dinner (and lunch!) at the Pink Beach Club were always delicious. especially the tuna poke! One evening we were greeted by the hostess Megan who made us feel extra special and took our photo while wishing us a happy anniversary. Our server, Ajit, that night was truly exceptional moving a heavy umbrella over us when a shower passed through as well as bringing us a special anniversary dessert and taking the time to talk with us.

Cara at the front desk was particularly helpful to us especially in dealing with the car service set up through the hotel which was late (over 30 minutes) picking us up at the airport and again on our return to the airport. Cara should be commended for her helpfulness and patience! On a bright transportation note, we found the best taxi driver who had the cleanest taxi, was always early /punctual and an absolute joy named Danielle (DBtaxi23@gmail.com 1-441-703-7986). We used her all week and were thrilled with her service.

Dont hesitate to book your stay at this magical place!

Responded 27 Sept 2024
Dear 820christinem, Thank you for for sharing such an amazing review and thank you for choosing The Loren Hotel to spend such a memorable vacation! First impressions are very important and it makes me very happy that Sahlay treated you so well during your check-in experience. Our amazing King Balcony rooms are the BEST to enjoy a wonderful breakfast while listening to the ocean sounds. Jeronna was very happy to hear she helped back your experience even better! Ron, Santano and Natalie also enjoyed making your beach experience one to remember. I am sorry to hear about the delay with your car service. Kara was happy to make this experience more helpful for you. Thank you again for all your kind feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

I wanted to amaze my wife with a few nights at the Loren to celebrate our anniversary. We have been welcomed in front of the entrance by Anais, who took care of checking us in and showing us to the room. A few days before our staying I have been contacted by a member of the staff inquiring about our occasion, and to my surprise, the room was decorated in such a romantic way, with hanging heart shaped balloons and rose petals. My wife adored it immediately, even more when a bottle of champagne got delivered to our room, with strawberries and whipped cream :) The room had breath taking views of the ocean, the bed was very comfortable and the balcony was spacious with comfy outdoors sofas to enjoy the breeze and the warm sun (even in February!). The room are completely sound proof: no AC noise, no neighbor's TVs or such could bother our sleep.
We were impressed by the hotel interior decor, a mix of sophistication and comfort. The outdoors are well taken care of.
We really felt like being in another world, the holiday vibe was real.
We took advantage of the pink beach club restaurant for every meal during our stay: breakfast lunch and dinner, the service has been impeccable and the food special in every occasion (special note, that PERFECT 100oz t-bone steak). To my surprise, prices were quite competitive for the Bermudian standards, even more if considering the exclusivity of the venue.
A special mention and thanks to Faisal who took care of reservation and Anais who pre arranged Valentines / Anniversary room surprise for my wife. They and other staff members made our stay truly unforgettable. Time passed way too quickly! Good thing that we live in Bermuda and can return to Loren at any time.

Traveling in Covid times requires some patience. Bermuda has a testing regime which requires a test when you land and then self-quarantine in your hotel room until results are received, which they had represented usually takes up to 8 hours. Unfortunately, reality in our case was almost 30 hours, so beware when you go to Bermuda of the potential reality. Certainly not the fault of the Loren, but unfortunately the arrival process was flawed by well-meaning but poor execution. The general manager addressed our concerns after we raised them, but nonetheless, the multitude of issues surrounding waits for food, etc. leads me to believe that a property of this caliber can do better.
Rooms at hotel are as advertised, modern and very spacious. Service in general well intended, but we found it slightly uneven, with some highly professional and some almost condescending at times. Food was above average, but not spectacular. Pool area has amazing ocean views, but the entire time we were there the pool appeared to be dirty. Being a pool owner, it appeared to me that it was a filter problem. Beach is very small and due to the rough surf was largely unusable during our stay. In the end, both my wife and I as well as the other couple who we were traveling with felt the experience was above average but by no means spectacular. One final note, on Thursdays and Fridays, rooms are subject to potential for excessive noise, as the hotel has pool gatherings for guests and locals.

This is a tough one. The views are amazing. Rooms are fantastic. Some staff members are wonderful. There are a lot of downsides though:

1) The food: boring. There's one restaurant, with the same options every single day. It'll make you crazy after 2-3 days. Not only that, but the prices are outrageous. Lunch is $150, easy. I think the room prices are a bit of a bait and switch; you think you're paying $600/night, when you're actually going to pay $1000+/night due to the food costs.

2) Incredibly slow service. Waiters don't multitask at all. They set your drinks down and disappear for 30 minutes. You feel like you are bothering them to place an order or ask for your check.

3) If you like to relax and go to sleep at a decent time, and your room is in the main building, the Thursday night DJ will be sure to thump you awake. Not something that I expected at a relaxing resort like this.

4) Want a snack? $7.50 delivery charge, every time, to bring an item up one flight of stairs to your room. My pregnant wife wanted an orange one evening. That turned out to be an $11 orange.

5) Weird COVID-related things. An example: they have goggles and snorkels available for swimming, but they're in a box by the pool, not sanitized between users. You're on your own to spray them down with whatever hand sanitizer you have on you. Another example: masks seemed to be utilized by all guests inside, except when it came to the Thursday DJ evening. It seems that masks went out the window when people wanted to dress up and hang out at the lounge, even while walking there through the hallways. They also failed to tell us about the island's SafeKey system, which the concierge at the Rosewood was shocked about, when we had no idea what he was referring to when he asked us to show ours to him.

With all this said, the view and the room/resort itself is very nice. I'd come back, but would definitely plan to go off-resort more often for dining. Unfortunately, that's more of a testament to the lack of other high end, modern resorts on the island.

We stayed in a villa in adjoining rooms with a garden view. The rooms and bathrooms were large and beautiful and the robes were insanely comfortable. We had a very nice seating area in the garden at the back of the villa, which was enclosed and private. The hotel itself sits right on the ocean and the restaurant is open-air with an ocean view from every table. The food was consistently good, and the coconut sorbet was especially delicious. The beach and pool were never crowded, but we were there in the off season at the end of March. Snorkling gear was available for guests to use and the staff working at the spa were very friendly and did a great job on our mani/pedis. Michelle, the concierge, took great care of us, organizing tons of activities, along with taxis to and from destinations and restaurants. There wasn't a single request that she did not try to fulfill for us! Love her. At our request, she even sent us a robe after we finished our stay at the hotel to spend a few nights elsewhere. Could not have asked for better service. The location of the hotel is somewhat central, but not directly in the heart of Hamilton, so you'll need to take a taxi absolutely everywhere. There are no sidewalks to and from the hotel, so walking on the road is a gamble. We walked around Spittal Pond, which is close by the hotel, and that was a great hike/walk; you can explore rocks by the cove and look out for birds, lizards, and all kinds of wildlife. In our rooms, they left chocolates on the beds every night (different flavors), which we enjoyed. They also supplied face masks and waters daily in the room. It would have been nice if there were more water activities available at the hotel, such as paddle boarding and kayaking; otherwise, you're really just sitting on the beach or by the pool. If you want a nice, relaxing week, this hotel is perfect.

So ... I'm part of a private flight crew. My boss was in Bermuda and wanted to stay during the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel we originally started in was closing and we ended up getting rooms at The Loren ... for 42 days! I can not only tell you that the hotel was an awesome place to stay but very elegant and modern. I'd like to take a personal vacation and return to The Loren. Every staff member at the hotel went way above and beyond. The front desk staff was always accommodating, the housekeeping went waaaay out of their way, the in-room dining staff always provided exceptional service and would ask if there was anything that the chefs could make for us that wasn't on the menu. They even offered to stop at the store on their way into work if we needed anything. The staff became friends and we hope that we can get back to The Loren under more pleasant circumstances. The property is right on the beach looking South, perfect for viewing the sunrise and sunsets. Outdoor beach side restaurant, pool and hot tub are feet from the beach. They even have villa's for longer visits. Should you want a place to stay in paradise that has everything in one location, this is it!

We staycationed for 3 nights and had an ocean view room which was spacious and nicely designed with a private balcony. The COVID precautions in place by the hotel were well laid out and there were plenty of masks and santizer throughout and also in the restaurants. We did have to ask for soap in the room and little disappointed at the lack of selection of in room tea available and that water had to be heated within the coffee machine (I'm a fussy tea drinker). The curtains were a little dirty but that was the only point to note. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent and the dishes/food/presentation outstanding for Bermuda. It gets busy for brunch on Saturday and Sunday and could have benefitted from having more staff working to have helped with the service. We had excellent massage in the spa and the staff there were very friendly. The Loren is in a great location - good snorkelling just off the beach and also to explore the east end of the island. Overall an enjoyable stay and a peaceful get away.

I needed an accommodation with a peaceful quiet setting (in room) and a simple yet luxurious resort feel throughout the property. From the time I made the reservation through to check out I received amazingly attentive service from the front desk, room service, and housekeeping staff. No request was too small or too big. I felt like a princess during what was to be a very stressful time in my life and I owe much of that to the fabulous team at the Loren and my absolutely stunning accommodations. It was a staycation but I felt as if I was in another world. A bathroom fit for a queen and a large walkout balcony overlooking the beautifully south shore. I will be back!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Loren Hotel! The rooms are lovely and the views are amazing!

Cole was super helpful and informative. He welcomed my daughter, assisted with all of our bags and delivered them to our rooms. He also held the birthday cake until we were ready to celebrate. Hannah allowed us to visit a ‘spare’ room before making our final decision and accommodated our request when we decided to change rooms for our last night. Room service was reasonably priced, arrived within twenty minutes and the staff were all very accommodating.

We’re already planning for our next stay!

I took advantage of the offer to stay at The Loren for their fantastic staycation deal on offer to locals and I was by and large impressed with what I was able to get out of it. The rooms are spectacular (I upgraded to the ocean view as opposed to the garden view) and I was fortunate enough to be at the quiet end of a hallway (room 205) with a front seat, upstairs view of the ocean.

The service was admittedly fluid, with some days better than others. I took advantage of both dining at the Pink Beach Club, as well as in room dining and was pleasantly surprised by the range of the menu for the in room service.

All in all, however, I truly did enjoy my stay and though I couldn't see myself paying full summer rate as a local to stay here again, I'd be happy to revisit if other offers were made in the same spirit.

The beach is lovely. It's a short flight of stairs down from the pool area. There are additional chaise lounges on the beach. Depending on the weather and tides, the water was either a bit choppy with waves, or fairly calm. Water was also crystal clear.
