Had a shorter stay than planned- left early after the death of the 8th mouse in one day. After highlighting this issue to the owner she said-'well leave then!' No attempt to address the issue or look at options. Did return payment however, minus 2 nights stay. Clearly no cleaning had been done prior to our arrival- for instance half...

Wonderful enchanting place! For those complaining they must be blind or to busy online to see the magnificent views and the amazing wildlife surrounding. As for the comment on the animals, having had the opportunity to chat with the local vet as he was there doing his rounds, these animals are well and truly looked after and considering a lot...

We are a group of five staying in The Lodge for a week. Had a lovely time. Loved the beautiful scenery and the ambience of the place with animals all around. The Lodge was comfortable - nice kitchen and lounge area. Bedrooms, toilet and bathroom were small but adequate. We found this the perfect place to relax and to use...

We visited this farm in June 2014 and the treatment and basic care of the animals was absolutely appalling. When walking round we noticed most of the water bottles and buckets were completely empty, some looking like they had been empty for a while. We took the Liberty of filling them up ourselves and the animals instantly began drinking. When...

We booked 3 nights and only managed 2 in the small beach house. It is possibly the most gloriously situated holiday let we have stayed in, but the beautiful setting can hardly make up for the terrible state of the property. Whilst a vase of fresh flowers is a lovely touch, sitting in a puddle of water, one or two...

We are just back from a week at Craig Highland farm, we were supposed to be in the large beach cottage but due to a problem with our booking fortunately we were in the large lodge. The weather was awful, it rained all week and at least with the lodge you can park right outside the door. The road has...

Just back from a weeks stay in the small beach cottage with my partner & our dog, to say all 3 of us loved it would be an understatement! After reading previous reviews we parked our car at the top of the hill (right as you enter the farm) and were glad we did as the road leading towards the...

The north west of Scotland is a beautiful place to visit, but I wouldn't recommend staying at craig highland farm. From the outdated booking system and rude phone manner, to the level of cleanliness and run-down accommodation, I 'd recommend staying somewhere else. The owner even had the brass neck to suggest we hadn't hoovered before we left. Really disappointing...

We stayed in the small beach cottage in August 2014 for a week. The location and views are outstanding. The cottage is located on the edge of the loch with views across to a small island (which is a nature reserve), beyond which is the other side of the loch and views of the mountains. The location is perfect. We...
