Stayed here for two nights. Situated just down from the castle. Comfortable walking distance into town, although uphill on the way back! Room was comfortable and there was a good powerful shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was great, lovely full Scottish breakfast, including haggis .Would recommend.

I stayed one night after walking from Melrose, Day One of the Saint Cuthbert's Way. It was further than I had expected ! And I arrived 2 hours later than forecast. The woman on duty was welcoming; and, although the restaurant wasn't open, she produced a very welcome bacon & tomato omelette and chips. The room was modest in size,...

Fresh breakfast cooked to order .... that says a lot , clean rooms, comfortable, wifi everything you need for short or longer stay. Friendly staff more than happy to cater for your needs, from the outside looks basic which adds to the charm when you go inside. If I am here again I would stay without a second thought.

We arrived very late on Friday night and was greeted by the owner who was very cheerful. The room was on the whole really clean, all I would say is the bathroom could do with a little TLC. Breakfast was of good quality. We didn't use the bar so can't comment on that.

A friendly and comfortable place to explore Jedburgh, The Glenbank really hits the spot. A lovely breakfast added to the experience. Many thanks for such a warm welcome. Ample parking space and an excellent location - very near the jail!

After spending far too long stuck on the big car park that the A1 turns into on a Friday afternoon, the prospect of a warm welcome, a decent glass of wine and a tasty meal is all one craves. Luckily, that was what the Glenbank House Hotel provided. One Mushroom Stroganoff and a Lamb Rump after arriving and we found...

Arrived here and was given Room 7..which actually was a large, well furnished room with a view of gardens and woodland - very private and not overlooked. The room was light and well equipped with high quality tea, coffee and biscuits and modern solid furniture. The shower was fabulous with jets going everywhere...lots of warm dry towels. The hosts were...

We stayed for 2 nights the weekend before last. Our room was huge and the bed super comfy. However, the rest of the furniture was cheap and due to the ceiling height looked tiny. The bathroom was big but apart from a tiny towel rail had no heating so showers were taken in record time. We ate at the hotel...
