Stayed in glenridding. The welcome is amazing the al a carte menu is to be tried. The waitress had a lovely smile and was every bit an ambassador to the hotel ( young Asian looking lady). I can't recommend this place enough. The beckside bar beneath the hotel is pristine in its appearance. I recommend you try the BECKSIDE BLONDE...

What a lovely stay in a family Hotel. Arrived with my boys and could not have been given a warmer welcome, nice room - boys loved the pool, sauna, snooker and table tennis! Huge pizza in the evening in the downstairs bar then a hearty breakfast before a climb up to red tarn, Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

We have stayed at this hotel previously, but this was our first visit since the flood. The refurbishment is excellent and compliments the existing areas. The hotel is still the same welcoming establishment, largely due to the friendly staff. The rooms are extremely comfortable and we had the best two nights sleep. Starting the day with a morning swim in...

Stayed for one night with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. Climbed Blencathra during the day so ready to chill out on the evening. Good location in the village centre, parking easy to locate at the rear. Checked in and went straight down to the pool. Pool smallish but fine for hotel of this size. Sauna at pool side, but...

We ate at the hotel on two evenings and the food was fantastic; really, really good. Lake view rooms...

We booked this hotel based on the strength of the reviews and weren't disappointed, what a great place. We only had 1 night here but will definitely be coming back. We hadn't quite realised the extent to how much Glenridding was affected by the floods till we got there and saw the information boards with photos detailing what had happened....

The rooms were clean and spacious ( we had room 27 overlooking the lake) all the ground floor has been refurbished after the floods and has been done to a high standard. The staff were great very helpful and courteous. The...

Having seen the devastation caused by the floods just over twelve months ago it was so good to see the hotel up and running again. We had a wonderful time and were impressed with the standard of the rooms and also the excellent food for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much...
