We jhave just spent a week in La Quinta Roja in Garachico and would recommend it as a peaceful retreat for a break in the sun. There is no real nightlife in the area [unless like us a visit coincided with a 3 day festival - very loud and put on for the locals and not specifically for tourists], but...

This historic building with its leafy courtyard is a real treat. It's set in the main square of lovely Garachico, near to several restaurants and a few hundred yards from the sea. The rooms are characterful and spotlessly clean, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I spent a relaxing week there with a good friend, whilst our husbands went...

Lovely old hotel. Beautiful wood everywhere and wonderful balconies. Possibly the nicest and most helpful staff I've come across in a long time, but it is, or seems to me, expensive. Absolutely in the centre of this lovely little town, so on balance, yes it is.

The most wonderful place I have stayed in! We came there without reservation and managed to get a very nice room. We were so happy that we prolonged our stay. Love the ancient atmosphere of the building and the square out in front. The beds were perfect and Breakfast a treat! The village is small but nice, especially the coast...

What a lovely place to relax and rest. Lovely room with comfortable beds and subdued lighting which could be brighter and believe plans in place to improve soon. Would recommend asking for upstairs room though as Room 108 does get a little noise from wooden floor above. Lovely courtyard to sit and relax in on comfy sofas - we had...

A very historic place with a relaxing atmosphere set in the shadow of Convent of the San Francisco founded in 1524 and you can feel the age of the place. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard within where you can sit in comfort and relax with the use of the bar all day. The rooms are comfortable, we had the...

The attractions and detractions of this hotel are identical. Old wood paneled, thick walled, stone floored with an attractive atrium for relaxing equals hard surface, squeaky floors and amplified noise. Great central location in this lovely little town with rooms overlooking the main square equals noise and disturbance for example from pop-up birthday celebrations after midnight. On the positive side...

The hotel is in an excellent location in the town of garachico. The building itself is wonderful and very interesting. Staff were so helpful, I have no criticisms of the service at all. Breakfast was really nice, plenty of choice and it was all very fresh. We stayed 1 night in a superior room with terrace which was spacious and...

This hotel is centrally placed in Garachico, which is by far the nicest little town on the North coast of Tenerife. The hotel is in the main square. It has a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We had a large suite which overlooked part of the square. Breakfasts are excellent and there are many restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is a real gem! I really liked the old wooden windows facing the town square, so charming. And the church bells ringing every hour. A boutique hotel with a really tasty breakfast. Loved the croissants!
