We returned to the chilled Son Grec for a few days break and it didn’t disappoint. Cooler weather allowed great morning walks and hikes followed by warm afternoons in the sun around the area. Son Grec team were welcoming and helpful as before. See you again soon. And thanks.

If you want to feel a true sense of place of the Mediterranean, while disconnecting yourself from work, then you’ve come to the right place. It’s geographic uniqueness , it’s historical legacies , it’s art , and it’s architecture makes the SON GREC one of the most unique hotels I

Be careful writing a review as the manager doesn’t like criticism. Some people might like this place, we didn’t. Maybe we’re too accustomed to 5* so it’s horses for courses. One good thing, there’s no fighting over sun beds. Soller itself is fantastic, both the town and the port

Response from Dorti G, Propietario at Son Grec Petit Resort
Responded 1 Oct 2018
Dear Lovetravelling64, You have to understand that a personal opinion is not the truth. Yours is respected, but not shared. Criticism is always accepted at SON GREC, whenever it is constructive. We have a close touch with our guest and every single feedback is always valued. Preferred in person than digitally, though. But what is not acceptable at all is when we are directly insulted. And that's what you explicitly did to me (and to all my staff and my family per ende). And that's just unacceptable. It was absolutely clear that you were looking for a complex with a mall and yachts for night hawks, which is a very personal concept of the 5* you're accustomed. More interested in the bar hours than into the Art, the History or the Environment. Again, fully respected, but not shared since it has nothing to do with our philosophy. Neither with our house in particular nor with Sóller in general. There are many other places in the world where we are pretty sure you'll find your match. So, we agree: Don't bother to choose again a family-run hotel in a house with 300 years of History with a real human service. Corporate smiles, late drinks and red carpets are not the traditional style around this area. Horses for courses. Regards, José-María Álvarez Deputy Manager

This is our 7th visit to Son Grec -the fact we usually never visit a hotel more than once confirms how wonderful it is - when the electric gates open I instantly relax and know we are heading for a few days of bliss - the grounds are beautiful and everything is to a very high sta

I don't think I have been quite as excited about writing a tripadvisor review as I have this one for Son Grec. Where to begin...

Pre-arrival: Upon booking our 4 night honeymoon stay, we were given all the information we could need prior to our arrival. Dinner options, how to get

Please can you tell me on what nights dinner is served to guest staying in residence.
Hi, you can have dinner any evening served on the terrace, weather permitting. please note the menu on some evenings is themed. I hope this answers your question, however, the village square is only a 10 minute stroll, if you fancy further options.

Is this hotel child friendly / suitable . Travelling with a 3 year old .
Dear slopster408, Thank you very much for your message. For your information, SON GREC Petit Resort is for Adults Only, so we don't accept guests under 18 years old. We can present, though, you an alternative at Port of Sóller for families travelling with children: Lili Apartments. Thank you again for your interest. All the best, SON GREC Petit Resort

How long does it take to walk into Soller? And how easy is it to get to Port du Soller?
Dear fusspot123, Thank you for your message. To walk from here to Sóller takes 0 minutes and 0 seconds. :-) SON GREC is actually in the middle of Sóller town, in the beautiful, pure and green L'Horta neighborhood, to be more specific. To get to Sóller's main square (Plaça de la Constitució) from our Petit Resort takes 10 minutes walking. We are very close from all the important spots of Sóller town, everything walking distance (never much more than 10 minutes). Regarding Port de Sóller, it takes 15 minutes by tram (we have one stop 5 finutes away, walking distance as well) and 8 minutes by car. It is 3 km away. If there's any other question/s you may have, don't hesitate to let us know. We'll be delighted to host at our home soon. Best regards, SON GREC Petit Resort
