Completely renovated in 2019, a historic building with a terraced garden in the heart of the emerald valley of Socha, it is suitable for active sports hiking, paragliding, cycling, rafting, canning, kayaking, fishing. Hostel located on north-west of Slovenia in Kobarid, opposite a historical museum devoted to the First World War. Hostel Kobarid provide to guests 4 rooms with bunk beds, two bathrooms with 6 showers, 5 toilets, shared kitchen and free WiFi, shared lounge, a terraced garden with view at a city and mountans.

This hostel is a perfect spot for everyone spending some time in Soča Valley. The hosts are extremely friendly, and offered help on every occasion! The accommodation is clean, the bathrooms spacious enough, and the kitchen is well-equipped and offers free coffee all day long! The location of the hostel is central and presents a good starting point to discover Kobarid and the surrounding area, including the whole valley! I would definitely recommend hostel to everyone who want a nice experience with warm environment and hospitality! It is surely a place one would want to come back to!

I love hostels like this one: modern, super clean, with a great touch for details, well equipped kitchen with lots of storage options for your food. The only thing that bothered us a bit was suuuper hot couples room - we stayed there on a pretty hot summer day and the room is not super spacious for 8 people so it got quite hot at night.

Ana and Yaro, the owners, manage the hostel as their home. They were super-friendly and open-hearted. They are well organized and always tried to adapt to the needs of their guests. I compliment them. The hostel is very new, all the details are well thought about. In the dormitories each bed has its own electric plug, light and a curtain which I found very useful for privacy. The bathrooms and toilettes are well designed, the kitchen is very spacious and equipped with all the utensils you need. Coffe and tee is FREE and always available for guests. Breakfast is well prepared. Outside there are terraces with chairs where one can hang out. The location of the hostel is central. I recommend the hostel for the cleanliness, the comfort and most of all for the superb hospitality of Ana and Yaro. I will definitely come back:)…

This brand new hostel is the work of a lovely couple, who had a totally DIY approach and spent many many months on the journey to make this place what it is today.
