Bar was very busy on a Monday night! We finally managed to find some seating, ordered our food from a very sultry waitress ie a steak sandwich and burger. It eventually arrived after waiting for 45 minutes. As we were on our way back to Dublin and were looking for quick and good bar food, the delay was not appreciated...

Stopped off on the way to Cork and hoped, as we pulled off the new highway, that the ol horse and jockey would still be there. It's been 8 years since we've been home to do the trip to Cork. So delighted when we pulled into the parking lot and everything remained as we remembered from our many sojourns of...

Stayed at a Horse and Jockey for 3 nights. Stayed in room 317. Large room with 2 king size beds. Clean with large en suite . Breakfast was buffet. Had better but acceptable. Think problem might have been that hotel was not full so food sat out for longer. Had decent meal in bar that did not break the bank....
