My job take's me all over Ireland and I have tasted scone for the last 20 years and I think I am a scone expert and I award the bakery at the horse and jockey my number one choice. Thank you and keep up the great baking.yum yum.

Stayed the night here for a family occasion and stayed in the junior suite. The room was very spacious and the fixtures and fittings where nice just a tiny bit dated from wear and tear but overall a great stay. A nice food menu coupled with fantastic staff made our stay more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again

Overall happy with my stay. Booked deal for B&B, dinner and spa treatment which was reasonably priced and of a very good standard overall. Big clean spacious room on the ground floor overlooking the carpark but not particularly noisy, even though if I stayed again I would ask for first floor for a bit more privacy as I felt I...

Called into this hotel for Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. We arrived around 2pm and the bar was packed so we went into the restaurant. €23.50 for a wholesome three course meal was a bit pricey but worth it. I had the ham, kale and lentil soup which had a strong flavour but was delicious. The side of homemade...

1st time staying here. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. Fantastic bar food. Breakfast was just as good. Has a leisure centre and spa but did not use either. Will definitely return and stay here again.

We went to the Horse and Jockey for dinner with our two children. We chose to eat in the pub area as we thought it would be easier with the kids. There are two options of an evening - either inside the restaurant or adjacent to the pub which is slightly more relaxed. Although there were no tables available when...

Lovely laid back hotel situated just off the motorway. The food and quality of the room were excellent. We didn't opt for a treatment in the spa as we felt it was a little overpriced but overall we were very happy. There is nothing around the hotel but Cashel is only a ten minute drive and is well worth it.

Just spent 3 nights here while in Ireland for our grandson's christening. This is our second visit and we were once again extremely pleased with the hotel. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, good food, spacious, clean rooms- really couldn't fault it! The pool was as a bonus as we were travelling with children. Think it's great value for money and would...

This was our second stay at the Horse and Jockey for a family event nearby (first time was in Feb 2016). The facilities are really good, all the staff are friendly (and the fact that we recognised a lot again this year tells me their staff retention is good) and the bar is a wonderful place to spend a couple...

We called at 3:30pm on our way back from Dublin from a funeral. We got a table and went to the bar for a menu. Both of us ordered the lamb curry with poppadoms. Eventually we got the curry (no poppadoms). While the curry tasted very good there was just a couple of small pieces of lamb in each curry....
