We stayed here on the last night of our tour, and it was wonderful to be able to relax in this hotel. They were very accommodating when we wanted to change rooms, and we ended up upgrading because the suite was such good value. See pictures. There was plenty of hot water and I ended up having a bath which was wonderful after weeks of only showers.

The hotel is outside the main town so it's nice and quiet, and the views are lovely. It's only a short walk into town.

We opted to eat all meals at the hotel because the food was so good at our first meal. They also make a decent coffee - not something to be said for many places in India!

Pushkar is a lovely wee town and this is a great place to enjoy it. Upgrade to the suite if you can - it's totally worth it.

I traveled to Pushkar with a few friends this July, and planned for a 3-nights stay at Hotel Gulaab Niwas. With breathtaking views of the Aravali Hills and spectacular sunsets, this hotel instantly made us fall in love with its idyllic charm.

We booked the Deluxe rooms that were large and comfortable, well-equipped with modern amenities and came with a spacious balcony with a gorgeous view of the hills.

We planned for my friend’s birthday dinner on the hotel rooftop; the lovely ambience there and the savory Indian food made for a blissful time.

Couldn’t get enough of the big lush lawns and the superb pool. And I must add that we were taken care of by the most gracious host and an extremely courteous staff.

Also, the hotel is only a few minutes away on foot from the Pushkar Lake and the famous Brahma Temple.

Outstanding experience! If you’re looking for a place that is the perfect amalgamation of Rajasthan royalty and present day’s modernity, this place is a must visit! Definitely worth coming back to!

The architecture of the palace is beautiful but the rooms are just above average. Toiletries, slippers, extra towels should have been provided in regard to the money they’re charging. There was some issue in the shower as well.
Better services could have been provided, specially because I went there on my birthday.
The good aspect was the breakfast which was freshly made.

We grabbed an opportunity to book the entire property by booking only 5 rooms inclusive of all meals in this current lockdown. A great get away in Rajasthan. Lush green gardens, Pool with a view, excellent food and great service. Located between the foothills of Pushkar, hotel gives you a warm homely vibe. Had the best Mangoes and Jamuns straight from the trees of this hotel. Mornings started with Yoga and ended with stars gazing. Shamsher particularly was extremely courteous was on toes the entire time of our stay. Must Recommended.

We stayed in Gulaab Niwas Palace for one night (19-20 December 2022). The hotel is located just outside the town centre but within a pleasant 10-minute walk from the Holy Lake. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. The hotel has a big pool and large relaxing garden with turtles. Our best experience were the friendly staff: friendly and spontaneous to make us feel relaxed. Special compliments to the helpful gentleman at the reception, and to Mahendra Sing, Anita and Ajay who served our breakfast, made with organic ingredients from the palace’s gardens. Mahendra, Anita and Ajay explained us the various Indian breakfast dishes and gave us a very personal service. In conclusion: warmly recommended hotel for stays in Pushkar!

This is one of the beautiful places to stay in the outskirts of Pushkar. The location of this place is amazing as on the one side of the palace you can see the whole city of Pushkar and on the other side you get to see the whole Aravalli mountain range which has a beautiful view in the morning. This is a perfect getaway for those who have their own car and want to avoid the hustle of the main market and chill yet stay close to the city. Rooms are really pretty and their suites are just mind blowing with spectacular views on both sides. I would really like to stay here someday 😊

So a group of 2-3 friends decided to visit this property at Pushkar. Considering the ongoing scenario, we were initially skeptical as we were stepping out after a few months.
However, the hospitality, cleanliness, safety measures and of course the food at the hotel were at its best. The property is very well maintained with gardens surrounding it making it extra special if you are looking to rejuvenate with a view of both city & hills. Would definitely recommend Gulab Niwas if you’re looking for a perfect Getaway spot.

Nestled in the cradle of mountains, overlooking the majestic Pushkar lake, Hotel Gulaab Niwas palace is one of the few places in the world where I felt aligned with myself and the energies of the space. I was especially floored by warm hospitality of the host, radiant smiles of the people and delicious food that still lingers around in my memory. A place where one can find the cosiness of home along with the grandeur of a Palace. Definitely a home away from home and a place to rejuvenate oneself. Looking forward to more such trips soaking the vibe of this beautiful and serene space.

Our stay at the Gulab Niwas was incredible. The property is located at a height and commands spectacular views of the hills on one side and the city on the other. Having done a fair bit of research this is one of the most unique things about the hotel. It’s architecture gives you a feeling of being in Rajasthan. The service is personalised and warm yet efficient. Not to mention that the hotel is also a pet friendly one so one can feel free to bring their little furry friends along and the hotel would be happy to help in anyway possible.

Having been an avid traveller and having stayed at many five star chain hotels I can’t help but mention that my stay at Gulab Nivas was such a breath of fresh air.
