First thing first, do NOT expect it to be a hotel because it is not. It is a mission of the Rajasthan tourism to keep it's historical Palaces in working condition by turning them into a Hotel. So maybe not everybody will approve of it, but for others it's totally worth every bit. I was there during the Pushkar Camel...

This hotel is perfectly located next to Pushkar Lake yet the price is extremely low, therefore it will be a good choice for budget travelers. For the rest, there are many downsides: 1) Wifi only in the lobby. 2) Bad maintenance - the hotel looks abandoned. 3) Poor choice of food. 4) Water flow in the shower is weak -...

The best part of the hotel is its location. You can walk down to the Brahma Sarovar from one of its exits. It is huge property with excellent garden. The check in and the lobby is good. They have excellent staff and very good restaurant though the choice is limited. The negative part is the maintenance of the rooms and...

As with most government hotel, the location is prime. Building maintenance is very poor. Food not upto the mark. Breakfast very limited options. Linen was good. Bathroom was ok. Staff overloaded but ok.

It is a great spot to visit while in Pushkar even if you are not staying there. It was originally a palace , now turned into a heritage hotel. You can enjoy a panoramic view of the temples and the lakes from the hotel.

Raja Man Singh's Pushkar home is turned into an RTDC property- Sarovar Heritage Hotel. The lake view rooms simply offer majestic stay. The rooms are large and well renovated. They provide a breathtaking view of Pushkar lake. There are some miniature paintings in the lobby. Typical to Rajasthan's Palaces, there are multiple staircases leading to terrace rooms. One exit opens...

The hotel has more pluses than drawbacks. It has rooms of all types AC, non AC, family and rooms with common bathrooms. Pros: A heritage hotel Big room, renovated private bathroom Check in was...

This was our 3rd visit to Pushkar and we decided to stay again in Sarovar (though our last experience was also not so good) thinking they must have improved. But like before they disappointed us again. It has deteriorated... This is such a huge property in prime location with ample parking space situated right in the begining of the market...

Spacious rooms and outdoors and convenient location but RTDC is not maintaining it as there are many negatives: 1. Cleanliness needs much improvement 2. Taps for water do not operate well 3. No intercoms 4. No menu to select food 5. Shortage of staff (though occupancy was low and hence, this was not a problem) Will RTDC wake up and...
