I had a great experience at Orchha Best Homestay. My train arrived late at night, they organised a taxi to meet me at Jhansi and bring me to them. Room was clean and comfortable. I went for the more expensive upstairs room. Cheaper rooms downstairs. Nice terrace to have meals. I had all my breakfasts there and a couple of evening meals. Food always good, home cooked. It’s a short walk to the palace and temples, the guesthouse is located off the main road so it is quiet, and in an interesting local neighbourhood. The father and son of honeymoon the homestay are genuinely decent people.
