Noor-Us-Sabah (meaning "The light of dawn") is undisputedly the finest Residential Palace of Bhopal. The white Palatial Building & the architecture of the Palace has a stark resemblance to the ancient regal times & grandeur of a bygone era. Within the city and yet a world apart, it is perfectly placed as a base for combing the streets of Bhopal, its environs and places of interest.

Detailed Reviews
Noor us Sabah perched on a hillock with a commanding view of the lake is the best located hotel in Bhopal by a stretch. It has pedigree, housed in a palace of the Nawab. Down the curb is the VIP road encircling the lake and the pride of Bhopal’s.
The ornate club rooms have a sit out balcony to sip tea or just gaze at the lake and the city from a vantage point. A straight view of the airstrip makes tracking landing and taking off flights a game. The rooms are large, well provided but for a jarring minuscule TV. The wood work wears a cheap polish. Housekeeping and room service are impeccable.
The gardens, well manicured and thoughtfully planted are a high point. A symmetrical courtyard one, another overlooking the lake and the pool, a smaller intimate one by the side of the in-house cafe and the sweeping front facing one at the entrance.
Za-aiqa serves authentic Awadhi cuisine. The Marble Arch is multi cuisine and it is a pleasure to dine in the Open Air with a panoramic view of the city and the lake. The Dynasty tucked in a corner serves not so delectable Chinese food. Caffe Latte is popular with the young with indoor and outdoor seating. Coffee, cakes and savouries are worth a try. The service takes the cake though across all the eateries, personalised and at the same time non intrusive. The Bhopali chai, with a dash of salt, at the Marble Arch is a stand out for its local flavour.
The big question which is better Noor us Sabah Palace or Jehan Numa Palace ? The former recommends itself for its commanding presence, the latter for a fine touch of class tad better than its arch rival. I will go for Noor for its panoramic view though ironically that’s literally what Jehan Numa means. A word about Jehan Numa Retreat- preferred stay if ones looking for modern, best in the city rooms, quietude and a retreat from Nawabi ambience.

Dear Guest, I feel privileged that you considered writing this review and for sharing your experience with other guests on Trip Advisor. Thank you for choosing “Noor-Us-Sabah Palace”, Bhopal. Thank you so much for your generous praise of Za-aiqa - A chance to "Relive the Nawabi Era", bringing the best of famous Awadhi and Mughlai cuisine. The ambience is delicate and give a feel of a fine dine and you can even watch your meal being prepared through the see-through live display kitchen, a visual treat not to be missed. We pride ourselves on offering warm and delightful service to our guests. We are glad to know that you found the staff to be responsive. As someone who has stayed repeatedly at NUS for the last 8 years, and had 4 family weddings from here, it is sad to say that the service, rooms and hotel overall has lost its regal touch.
While the suites are nice and big and possibly worth the $$, the smaller rooms are at best average. Service is just okay, the property itself seems to be poorly maintained and the food (breakfast/dinner) was abysmal. Even basic breakfast food tasted awful, looked unappetizing and at most was nothing great.
The rooms need a major interior upgrade, the toiletries provided need to match the price tag of the rooms, the upkeep of the resort, walls need some fresh paint, i've never seen the fountain functional.
Ironically the saving grace is the facade of the hotel, but everything inside needs a big fresh new paint job literally and figuratively.

Me and my friend were celebrating my placement selection by cutting cake for me. As soon as Rajesh sir and his staff team ( Sandesh, Sandeep, Rupesh, Yogesh ) saw me cutting the cake, they immediately came with a big flower bouquet and a pastry ( obviously presented by them ) to celebrate my happiness with me.
I’ve never seen such hospitality and kindness in any other cafe managing teams. Rajesh sir and his team is AMAZING. They are so well spoken, the cafe is so hygienic, the tables are cleaned by the team members every now and then. Behaviour of the staffs is AMAZING.
They’re very kind, soft spoken and perfect
Best staff in BHOPAL.

I stayed in Noor us subah palace to celebrate a family occasion for two days in November . Below is my review :
1. They are taking all precautions related to Covid -19 and I can vouch based on my experience that its a very safe property to visit and stay during these times
2. I would like to mention Yashika from the Reception desk specifically , she has very good people skills and aided us in getting the best rate for our stay and was cordial and helpful throughout . Well done yashika , keep it up !
3. For our family occasion , we had requested certain special arrangements from the restaurant which were not only met but the hotel staff co-operated with us and gave us stellar service leading to an unforgettable experience . Special mention to Amit , the restaurant manager for being patient and understanding our needs and ideas for decor etc. Also , shoutout to Rocky and Jeetendra who handled the service and the arrangements for the dinner and did it flawlessly .
4. Overall , it was a very pleasant stay topped off with the warmth and hospitality of the staff of the hotel.
The view from the hotel is to die for , one of the best properties in bhopal to stay.

If u want an average food with good view, a very over rated hotel with dead slow service, first of all people go there n they wish to take photographs but when u do staff will look at u like u r here for eating finish it food fast and go, ok we are average people but when we come to an overly expensive hotel we wish to have good time and capture it and obviously show off, but they will have an eye on u always ... But when u require service they all will vanish, they will serve u chocolate syrup with brownie but when they see u r using more than a spoon they will just take the bowl away..they don't have enuf table it seems so they wish u will just finish off Ur food fast fast n vacate the table if u have a fix hour let us know, so to all the staff let me tell u the tax we paid can buy a big Hersey chocolate syrup.. Moreover when u will enter the hotel 5 people (hotel staff) will chit chat but no body will show u the way or bother to ask what we want... Even a very small hotel staffs are more courteous.. it's a perfect example of naam bade n darshan chote

‘Cafe Latte’ is NUSP’s on-the-go restaurant that serves delicious snacks and refreshing coffee throughout the day. With an energetic and inspiring vibe, the cafe is ideal for a quick bite with friends, family, or to work at through the day. The staff is very hospitable, and remains on their toes to provide you the best experience. Special mention to Mr. Rajesh who manages the cafe with immense enthusiasm. Shahid, Shahzad, and Rupesh make a great service team.

Best scenic and peaceful place for staying in Bhopal. Unique location. No noise pollution and large grass area for walking and having 360 degree view of the large lake. Being bit above the plane (on a small hill) the view of the Lake directly from the room is just amazing. Very near to the Airport (7kms).
The best part is it's food. Indian/continental/Chinese and Awadhi all Gharanas are available and served foods were very tasty and authentic.
Maybe the hotel will be taken over by some big house like Hyatt.
A swimming pool, gym, and spa are available. Earlier the property was actually of Nawab of Pataudi's, which was converted to a heritage hotel.
