The soup & starters were good. Main course was pretty average compared to standards set by the starters. The desserts were also average. What we relished in desserts was the ras malai. The hospitality was amazing and something that one could come here for.
Visited Bhopal after a long time to meet with friends and family and casually paid a visit to the Jehan numa palace for some peace and coffee and absolutely fell in love with the place! Each wall of this 100 plus years old hotel has a story to tell. The lady at the reception was kind enough to show me around the entire property and enthusiastically brief me about the history of Bhopal and legacy of the palace. The palace flaunts its rich heritage by showcasing a number of pictures with audio guides to give an amazing museum experience. The food here is absolutely amazing and they serve the best lotus biscoff cheesecake in town. The staff is so warm, welcoming and courteous. Would definately be visiting again soon.

Excellent hotel with excellent staff. Especially the Bell boy Amar thapa was very Informatics. He given the Palace tours. Highly recommended for business traveler to bhopal . The breakfast was delicious.
We visited jehan numa palace cafeteria with family. After waiting for half hour we got table. we felt lucky.... Nobody came to take order for 15 min... when i called for the person who was cleaning tables came ... he had no idea of menu.... Finally order was given basic pizza and bombay sandwich and fresh lime soda.....Food did not arrive for 40 min.... pizza arrived without chilli flakes, oregano or sauce... Bombay sandwich was hillarious...No papernapkins... In short no one bothered.... Worst cafeteria I ever visited!!!!!! PLEASE AVOID!!!!
Sometimes in the hustle and bustle that is India, you need a calm oasis. Jehan Numa Palace fits the bill very well. We only had a day to spend there between family commitments and a friends wedding. So we arranged a late check out. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. We welcomed the gardens and nearby national Park and the swimming pool in the May heat. The room was immaculately clean, cool and spacious. Furnished with understated elegance that put me at ease immediately. We ate at their mango tree restaurant, the food and beverages were excellent,as was the rooftop setting under a huge mango tree. We also had some spa treatments, they had good quality products and skilled staff. Buffet breakfast with eggs to order and a very wide range of choices was also fabulous. They have other dining experiences as well. I would have loved to have stayed for a week, but I was very glad to stay for the night. We will be back again, it is really conveniently positioned to many of Bhopals tourist sites and the tourist desk makes it really easy. We are very interested in staying at their other hotels near national parks within a few hours drive.…
Manager Eric is extremely cordial and helpful person around , very impressed. Service was fast and staff was efficient even during the late hours of dining in. Very pleased with the dishes, and the continental dishes that is offered
Jehan Numa Palace Hotel serves royalty and modernity with the best hospitable spirit. A must go in Bhopal for those who believe in travel for lifelong experiences. The photos or online reviews cannot do justice to what Jehan Numa Palace really is! Visit and be welcomed by the most humble, professional and welcoming staff. Every corner of the hotel speaks of royalty (including each photo frame that narrates a story of the royal past) and it is beautifully maintained to host the guests at the property. The hotel has a cafe and four-five restaurants, all of which serve delicious food. The theme and menu card of each restaurant is different and will not disappoint. It’s a food lover’s paradise! My favourite was Under the Mango Tree (terrace seating), which gives the best evening experience with pleasant breeze and moonlit sky. Their breakfast spread is one of the most lavish among great Indian hotels and it spoils you by choice. To just be at Jehan Numa makes me you feel royal!…
Having been to Bhopal earlier I had nurtured a feeling of a comeback-this time to see it through the eyes of the family that had inherited the Jehan Numa properties. So the palace it was! Two nights of experiences that turned out one better than the other. From getting to understand the history that they have so generously shared on the walls-the era of the Begums that ruled. to now the present times. Hospitality that showed in every person that, served, waited or interacted all showed their willingness to assist the tired traveller.I woke up every morning to see the horses being exercised- royalty in itself. All the restaurants provided specialised cuisines, affording no shortcuts. The evening that stood out most was the one of "The General's dinner', carefully crafted from the kitchens of the family that had preserved the aromas and the recipes over the years! One could just sense tradition and culture in every decorated space and carpet. The staff and the cleanliness all deserve mention. More power to Faiz Rashid who makes sure that it looks like a Palace but offers all modern amenities and comfort to the contemporary traveller, silently keeping the old world charm in place. Kudos to the GM -Gaurav Rege for keeping it buzzing.…
