Jehan Numa Palace Hotel captivates guests with its enchanting blend of historic charm and contemporary comforts, nestled in a prime Bhopal location. The palatial architecture and serene ambiance are complemented by a range of luxurious amenities, including diverse dining options, a pool, and historical tours. While the hotel's meticulous upkeep and imperial rooms are deemed good value, some guests have noted occasional service lapses. The attentive staff, spotless environment, and thoughtfully appointed rooms, despite minor noise and maintenance concerns, consistently garner high praise.

A awesome place to stay and as all luxurious hotels pamper you .. Jehan numa palace is no less. They not only pampered us with welcome drink and fruits the made sure we are safe from corona virus. The not only kept the room sanitized they also sanitized our luggages and all the touch points. Pleased by their hospitality.

During this time of Covid and Amid lockdown.. its just a perfect place for the weekend get away if you're bored from the daily homie things and looking for a day off... Services provided are just extravagant.. We were offered the upgraded perfect pool view room by the generous staff especially by Mr Faiz Hasan..
Amazed by the safety precautions they are maintaining which includes sanitized rooms and sanitization of our luggage... The perfect gesture was they were serving *Kadha*in the welcome drink, keeping in view the scenario of current situation.
Breakfast in bed was another amazing thought taken into consideration to maintain social distancing.

A super, very elegant hotel. You get a taste of a different era whilst staying here. I can still hear the pianist playing in reception in the evening and it's a joy to wander the courtyards and look at the black and white photos of former residents of the palace.

My room had been freshly painted so was in excellent condition. The bathroom was very clean and well maintained and the massive balcony had lovely views over the pool (just a shame it was too cold in January to use the unheated pool).

Under the Mango Tree is a fantastic restaurant - the tandoori platter is a must try.

I also had a very vigorous massage in the spa which ended with time in the steam room.

Booking directly with the hotel offered much cheaper prices than everywhere else I could find.

pick and drop not available, room cleaning services were not available, expected more servies after spending this much money, online pay option sucks, take 1-2 days in clearing if stuck in the payment gateway, hotel manager was not at all cooprating in terms of online payement issues. they must take care of online payement issues and resolve quickly . we suffered much because of this.

Response from Gaurav Rege, General Manager at Jehan Numa Palace Hotel
Responded 21 Sept 2021
Hello Apoorva, At the onset, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that you may have faced. Let me assure you that all services and facilities that you have mentioned in your review are available at the hotel for all guests. The Jehan Numa Palace has established itself as a quality destination and we give utmost importance to all feedback received. However, upon checking with the team, we have not been able to trace any feedback or query received regarding car transfers, concerns on room cleaning services or any issues with the payment gateway. Our banking partners and the IT team have rechecked and assured me that payment gateway services have been functioning as desired. We are therefore unable to comment on your experience without knowing specific details on your booking and would request you to either call me on +91-9993091060 or write to me on gm@jnph.in with your feedback. I once again apologize in case you have faced any difficulty. Best regards Gaurav Rege General Manager

Once we finally had the room we had booked we had another excellent stay here . At weekends it is full up with families which clearly causes logistical problems . The gardens as beautifully kept as ever and of course the friendly and attentive staff . Of particular note are PUNEET - a waiter in the Italian Restaurant who looked after us brilliantly every night - and his winning smile ! And RAJ and AMBER , the two doormen , as warm and kindly and efficient as ever . The food was good , although unfortunately the upstairs Dining Room was being redecorated so breakfast was in the open cafe - quite chilly ! And a little disorganised ! However we greatly enjoyed our stay at this family run hotel , and hope everyone there is coping in these difficult times . John and Michael

The Jehan Numa Palace Hotel personifies excellence in every sphere. The location is fantastic and everything from checking in, to the rooms, and room service was exceptional. All COVID precautions and protocols were followed; the baggage was disinfected, pens and keys at the Reception were sanitized and most of the staff were in face masks and face shields.
The hotel boasts a variety of cuisines and the greatest surprise was being able to experience the best Awadhi food ever, outside of Lucknow.
The rooms are clean and practical and the most fascinating part of the stay was being introduced to the history of Bhopal. The hotel has a great collection of photographs of times gone by.
All in all a great stay!
A big thank you to all the staff for making this stay a memorable one.

We stayed at the hotel, because we were attracted by the historic nature of the hotel. Like the name suggests, this is a old palace by a Queen (Begum) of Bhopal in 18th century. The place still has some historic vintage photographs, furniture etc. We dined at the La kuchina restaurant and found the food to be good. We also found the overall service in terms of room service, bell desk service to be very good. We were booked in a Regal room, and while the room was nice, it could have been slightly bigger. There are definitely cheaper hotels in Bhopal, but this one is worth its price due to the historic hotels. Even if you dont stay in the hotel, the restaurants inside the hotel come highly recommended.

the Hotel has a good reviews and I like staying in a kind of small heritage/boutique hotels, so decided to stay in this hotel for my trip to Bhopal(2 nights).

My experience overall is very disappointing, in particular from house keeping point of view: the first day I left around 10am and back to the hotel 15h just to rest for an hour, but the plateau of my breakfast remained making my room so smelly and the room had not been made by 15h!!! How unpleasant experience to open the door of your room while being so tired and wanted to rest, to discover the food plateau in your table, unmade bed and the bathroom, everything!

the saga of the housekeeping continued in the same day evening: when i wanted to brush my teeth, i realized that the cup i used for teeth brushing the night before and the cup i used in the morning remained as they were, completely intact with the trace of toothpaste!!!

This was after room made: is this the standard of hourse keeping of the hotel: making only room but leaving the cups and etc uncleaned?

More upsetting was the attitude of the duty manager on that night: accumilated of frustration of housekeeping problem, I talked to the duty manager who was supposed to come to see the dirty cups(when I asked him to come to see them he said yes) but he just sent the house keeping manager: if is this the attitude of duty manager dealing with guests?

Overall i was disappointed by every side: the bathroom facilities are far from the 5 star hotel level: the hotel is definitely NOT to the standard of 5 star hotels.
Bhopal will have a few more 5 start hotels in the near future starting the Taj lakefront which will open on 7 October, this hotel should make a great efforts to keep their guests but also upgrade a bit of bathroom facilities fit to the 5 star.
the hotel was not for value for which I paid and I will not go to this hotel for my next trip to Bhopal.

This is a palace owned by the Nawabs of Bhopal and the entire place reeks of Royalty. The decor is well done , with some great nostalgic pictures from the past. A must look around suggested. Coming to the Ala cart restaurant, its a quaint place with some light lighting , so as to give a romantic feel. Service is really great , we the stewards by your side and the service is with a smile.

The food is outstanding , particularly the Paya soup and the Non veg platter. Service is a tad bit slow , hence you can spend some quality time chatting with friends. The Bhopali mutton is a dish worth dying for .

On the whole a great experience and i would rate as Percy's Thumbs up.
