We were a group of five ladies and stayed for a couple of days at this beautiful villa, end of October 2017. We shared two rooms between us , one with a lake view and the other without. I suggest you book a room with a lake view..... it is a beautiful view !! To wake up to the sight of the peaceful lake with the mountains behind and the chirping of the birds was a blessing. And to go to bed with the view of the blinking city lights and the glimmer of the passing vehicles beyond the lake and below the hills .... was an experience by itself! We could have our meals on the balcony facing the lawn and the lake. The villa has direct to access to a beautiful promenade on the banks of the Upper lake and you can begin your day with a brisk walk on this quaint walkway. Rishi, our

Travelled with wife and 5 year old. Stayed for 3 days. Very accommodating family. Offered simple meal for kid when requested. Breakfast is simple but tasty. If travelling during the day Lago Villa can offer a packed lunch if requested in advance. Great location with a 15 minute walk from the boat club and very accessible to all the great Museums at Shyamla Hills. Nice for Families. Rishi will offer good travel tips when asked.

This is an excellently situated homestay by the lake run by a wonderful man by the name of Rishi. The property is very modern, clean and pleasant. He went out of his way to make sure our stay in Bhopal was a pleasant one and was incredibly helpful in sorting out taxis and suggesting things to do. One of the highlights was meeting his mum and dad and being invited up to sit with them and drink chai for an hour whilst we discussed how Bhopal was back 40 years ago. He has three rooms in his homestay and they are clean and have all the amenities you could want. If you want a good view of the lake it is best to ask him for the room at the back of the property as ours had no view at all. The guy serving breakfast is lovely but speaks virtually no english so it is best to communicate

Our stay experience with Lago Villa was one of the best till date.We went to celebrate my husband's birthday on 16 th july and this place turns out to be super wow.Its a private property rite on the lake.Room is quite spacious with comfortable bed & clean linens.A caretaker will always be at your service. The bungalow back door opens in front of lake gives you a mismerizing view all over the day especially early morning.U can sit in the garden and enjoy breakfast overlooking the lake.So peaceful and serene. The owner Mr.Rishi khattar warmly welcomed us and the care taker was also very nice.Overall an amazing experience we had during our stay at Lago Villa.Strongly recommended.

When we're you last woken up by the chirping of sparrows and tweeting of squirrels? This is how a morning starts at Lago Villa. Situated in the heart of Bhopal, this beautiful bungalow on the bank of the lake provides you with everything you can ask for in a home stay. And home is not made of bricks and mortar. It is made of the inmates of the place. My first impression of the inmates was through Mr. Rishi Khattar, the ever smiling owner of the property. I was traveling with my wife. This was our first stay with them. So I called Rishiji and made a request. I had an early morning flight and urged for an early check in. Without a second thought he not only agreed, but also upgraded us to a room with an awesome view. The room had everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

We had a very pleasant stay in Lago Villa, Bhopal for 2 nights/3 days. The place has many positives for couple / family stay. The host Mr Rishi is very welcoming, accomodating & helpful. On arrival we requested for a change of room which was immediately arranged. He also helped in arranging cabs & guided us with many helpful suggestions. The location is possibly the best in Bhopal in a calm & peaceful residential area right on the bank of upper lake, beautiful lake-view rooms, you get on to the lovely walk along the banks of the lake just on opening the residence gate. It's very proximate to the prime sight-seeing spots in Bhopal like Van Vihar, Boat Club, Tribal Museums etc. The rooms are well-appointed, the attendants helpful, & your stay is complemented by nice home-cooked

We stayed in 'Magneficio' room. A large clean room with a huge window over looking garden and lake. Clean toilet and lenin as well. Breakfast was home cooked fresh and sumptuous. Though standard fare of bread, butter, jam, egg, tea coffee, fruit and one more dish. Easy approach to lake walkway and other locations makes it an ideal homestay. Mr Rishi, the owner is really polite and helpful. Comfortable stay.

I stayed at Lagovilla for three weeks when I was in Bhopal doing PhD research. i was extremely comfortable and happy there! The breakfast (toast w/ butter and jam, eggs any style you like, aloo toasts, chai or coffee, fruit) and dinner are wonderful, homemade with love. I asked for a tiffin for lunches and got a wonderful paratha roll with sabzi packed for me daily! The rooms are large, great for families or single travelers like myself (especially solo female travelers), and very clean. The backyard opens on to the lake view walk next to the bara talaab, which is beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset. Rishi and the whole family are warm, open, helpful and friendly. When I fell sick with a bad stomach, everyone checked on me to make sure I had everything I needed. Each
