The resort is Nested on the banks of Tungabhadra river in the Yamini Hills. The resort is charecterised by a fascinating frontage of a network of water eroded boulders. An effort has been made to construct the cottage in harmony with the environment. The resort comprises of 16 rooms in total. It’s an ideal place for travelers who are nature lovers. Hampi Boulders is such a lovely place. Vinay is the manager and made me feel at home straight away. He is a naturalist also and his enthusiasm for the nature around him is inspiring and he brings Hampi alive with his eyes and knowledge while making sure that he and his crew take excellent care of anything you might need or any activity you might want to engage in. For me it was my third visit to this region and this is by far the best place and location to take in the wonderful and beautiful Hampi area. The cottage I stayed in was beautifully decorated and perched right on the banks of the river .. Nature and wildlife are teaming softly around you and the atmosphere is magic. Really enjoyed our stay at Boulder resort! Beautiful surroundings with hikes and bird watching within vicinity. Outstanding hospitality - especially manager Vinay (also a naturalist) who guided us about different activities that were fun for my kid. Overall would recommend this place for outdoorsy experience.

We had visited Hampi to mark our wedding anniversary and chose to stay at the Hampi's Boulders Resort. We stayed for 3 nights and by the end of our stint we just didn't feel like leaving thanks to the raw beauty of the place and the pleasant staff who ensured we had a comfortable stay. The property is sure to appeal to nature lovers who just want to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of nature. The Tungabhadra river can be seen from the cottages and we made it a point to make the most of it. This place defines 'being one with nature', so if you're looking for a place to unwind or just explore, look no further. There is an exclusive trail for visitors of the resort where you'd get to walk along the river banks and just soak up the aura of such a beautiful and picturesque wonder. I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire staff at Hampi's Boulders for ensuring we had a wonderful stay. The food was extremely tasteful and homely which was like icing on the cake. A special note of thanks to Vinay who went out of his way to make our visit a truly memorable one. His take on nature, wildlife and knowledge about the region was extremely enriching. Hampi Boulders Hotel was amazing. Our cottage overlooking the river and boulders was so comfortable. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the surroundings beautiful. The natural pool to swim in was delightful.

Loved it! It’s a totally secluded spot in the most beautiful location, beautifully designed (the natural granite pool a personal favourite) with the most attentive and charming staff imaginable - Vinay in particular. They arranged a great day trip for us to see Hampi, with superb guide Vijay and driver. Couldn’t have been better. Only wished we’d stayed longer..

The place is truly wonderful but some improvement is needed in several areas. Food, in particular breakfast (something sweet is totally missing), could be much better in quality and variety. Staff are courteous but could be more professional (e.g. no knocking on the room door to remind customers that breakfast or dinner closes in half an hour). Equipment could also do with some upgrade, for instance the AC, which is a bit old-fashioned and therefore very noisy, impacting on the quality of sleep. Given rates are quite high, even in low season, service and quality ought to be commensurate.

This is an incredible hotel with no wifi, no tv's and they don't serve alcohol or take credit cards! From the moment you arrive, you realise you have stepped into a very special place. Completely off the beaten track (literally), the rooms are spread out across the grounds and everything is done tastefully and feels like no expense has been spared. Our room, Croc Cottage has views out to the river (unfortunately we didn't see any crocs!) and prime position to watch the sunrise. A guide from the hotel took us to watch the sunset and if clambering over boulders and rickety bamboo bridges is your thing, don't miss it! At lunchtimes, you can only choose from the starters menu and everything we had was excellent with large portions, although the dinner buffet was also good, it wasn't quite at the same level. The swimming pool was really unusual as it is carved from a huge rock and a great place to cool down - just watch out for the monkeys!…

This place is truely in the lap of nature! Words fail to describe the stunning landscape of this property! The enigmatic and mystical rock formations we witnessed during the treks to the island and at the waterfall will be forever etched in our minds! The most magical riverbed rock formations which we are marvelling about even one week post return! This place is a must visit for anyone visiting Hampi! Please bookmark and bucketlist this gem of a place! Thanks to Vinay sir...manju and Masood bhai for all the help love and care during our stay! We will be back for sure! We were in the Otter cottage and it was the best base category cottage with river view and boulders all around!

The resort is fully integrated with nature but yet comfortable. Network coverage is non existent which adds to the experience of "getting away". Try and book the Sun, Croc or Star cottage as those have magnificent river and sunrise views. We actually saw a crocodile directly from one of the cottages! It is quite far from Hampi city so you need your own transport to get around but the drive is worth it. The resort takes you on a a few awesome treks nearby which is complimentary and a unique (paid) jeep safari over boulders which make the experience unforgettable. The food like everything else is basic but quite decent. I would suggest visiting Whispering Rocks (20 mins drive) for a great lunch/dinner. The manager Vinay is quite helpful in planning the sight seeing. Highly recommend staying here to feel fully rejuvenated!…
