A nice property in the serene valleys of Dharamshala. Very clean, floors smell good, great sunshine, one can sit and enjoy on your balcony n food has been very good as well. Excellent food and breakfast. I would like to thank the maître, Mr.Rajesh Tukur (a great communicator) and two employees, Miss Sanika and her colleague, all efficient and professional. I would also convey my compliments and thanks to the Chef, who gently gave my brother his 'methi matar malai' recipe. They advertise: “Every room has a balcony”, which is not true. I saw the beautiful luxury room, with balcony and a splendid view my agency booked for us, but it was a double bedroom and we needed a twin bedroom. Unfortunately all twin bedrooms had no balcony, no view, and the one I had to choose overlooked the other building that belonged to the hotel. It was a clean, spacious and comfortable, with elegant furniture. Nice bathroom. As for internet, you have to deposit 15 000, 00 Rupees for a dongle. About prices, I asked room service, for a portion of ‘pakoras’ and two teas and I was charged 630 Rupees, whereas in other hotels, same category and even higher, it would cost no more than 300,00 Rs tops!

I travel across the globe and am very careful while selecting a place to stay, had to travel to Dharamsala a beautiful holiday destination in north of India to attend a function, after a lot of web browsing and consultation we narrowed our search and decided to stay at Indraprastha . After a short flight from Delhi we landed in a very small and a beautiful airport of Kangra about 45 minutes driving distance from the resort.The car from the resort was already waiting for us and we were soon on our way to this beautiful and well maintained resort with one of the most stunning view. The checkin was quick and very professional, we were escorted into our suite by the manager personally . The suite was well appointed with a large living area and a very comfortable bed along with all amenities one would expect from the best hotels in India. Our breakfast was added in our package, as we were hungry , wasted no time and raided the nice spread of Indian and continental dishes served by a very courteous serving staff. we were also introduced to the owner Mr. Pawan who greeted us and informed that he would be personally available in case we needed any special assistance, this was very nice and we were sure that we would have a great time staying there. we were also informed that during the evenings there is a live singing performance with music and drinks , we decided to check it out and were very delighted and the singer performing that evening was very good and we had a great time. In a nutshell I was very pleased and after staying for 3 nights had no complaints. Surely my suggestion for all travellers who want to be away from the maddening crowds and want to have a relaxing and a wonderful stay

Nice Quaint property a few kms before the famous hill station Mcleodganj. Indraprastha is the perfect abode that avoids jam packed roads in other side stretch of Mcleodganj . It is One of the best properties available in and around Dharamshala.
Rooms are big in size with good Airconditioning provided. Almost all the Rooms have beautiful view of the valley Point and breathtaking view of the Sunset from the hills.
Housekeeping Staff and Room Service Staff is very courteous and ensure a pleasant stay no matter how the weather is outside.
Buffet served in the Dinner is quite lavish and flavoursome.
Hotel offers adventure activities like Horse riding,Games room and Sufficient parking space. Live music and Snacks on the Rooftop bar in the evenings is just awesome .

This is a very nice property located @10 minutes drive away from Mcleodganj Main Square towards Naddi . You'll get awesome views of the Kangra valley from the balcony but not of the Dhauladhar Ranges.( One Mr Kuldeep though said that the suite rooms have that view in my e mail communication before booking - but it's not true ). We stayed in Suite room 302 for 3 nights. The suite has one sitting room and a bedroom with king bed. There is a common terrace that is shared by rooms 302 & 303. The views from the terrace is very good. Food was very tasty, but with limited non veg options. (in dinner buffet there were 10 veg items each day against 2 non veg dishes). Room service was prompt and the house keeping staffs were very polite and helpful. Only real problem we faced was due to the games room that is just above room no. 302. People play snookers just above you and there is loud rolling noise from the snooker balls once they fall on the floor. It goes on till late night at least upto 11.30 in our case. It is very frustrating if you cannot sleep properly after a long day even after paying a premium for the Suite Room. The management should shift the games room somewhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was good size and the bathroom was nice. However the housekeeping dept. did not provide some of the basic necessities in the room until we asked for them. A hotel of this standard should provide extra towel, shower floor towel or toilet tissues without asking. They have all the things but we had to ask for them. Having said the negatives, I must say the other services especially the restaurant service was excellent. We had dinner option included and we found the food was superb. The chef was excellent, he came to meet us in the restaurant and on the last night the chef cooked a fish dish especially for us. The restaurant staffs were very courteous and served with smile. I must say we have enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. I would have given 5* if the housekeeping did a better job.

I’ve been visiting Indraprastha for sometime now as we live in Amritsar . It has the best view and the best ambience around . The staff there have always been accommodating and hospitable. Just being there gives you a serene feeling . I’ve stayed in the rooms and it’s so peaceful especially with a view which is worth a million dollars . The GM is very friendly and kind he makes sure we have the best experience from the time we step into the place . Food is amazing and the cozy fireplace setup in Terrace is a place where you can spend hours together with a personal bonfire as well. Overall it’s an amazing getaway from your busy schedule.

This a gem of a resort in the little hamlet of Mcleodganj. The property is beautiful, well maintained and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills & landscapes. The Terrace/Swimming pool area also offers a great view of the valley. The food is good and they try to offer as much variety as possible. The rooms are clean, spacious and are well equipped. The staff’s hospitality is exemplary and they leave no stone unturned to make you feel welcome and special.
Would like to specifically mention Rajesh & Purvansh who took great efforts in organizing a small celebration for the wedding anniversary my wife & I were celebrating during our stay. They decorated our room and also organised a cute candlelight dinner.
The resort is definitely worth the money, offers great comfort and luxury. Will surely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a decent place to stay in Mcleod.

4 star nightmare, no view from room, No hot water, no heater,
Worst food with same breakfast every day.
Avoid at any cost. We were 13 ppl 4 couple with 5 kids travelling on a family vacation which turned out to be a horrible experience. All were feeling sick after eating the pervious day leftover breakfast which they serve the next day.
When we had called the hotel we were informed that all rooms has valley view but we had construction view from our room balcony ( photos attached) Room interior are good but heaters in January 1st week is a must but was not working satisfactoryly. No hot water for 2 days. They got us the buckets after half and hour waiting.
Only word that comes after the vacation is over in dhramshala i.e Pathetic.
