We spent one night at the hotel and we're very disappointed. So glad we had bookings for the next two nights in another hotel in Dharamshala. The property is not maintained well at all and seemed like it had not been cleaned for a while. While the location is good and has a picturesque view but not worth staying there....

Walking up the gorgeous mountain path to Eagle's Nest, catching our first glimpse of the beautiful and quaint mountain bungalow, our all-women group of friends was anticipating a wonderful 24 hours in the lap of nature, cut away from all other habitation. However, by the end of this period, we couldn't wait to get as far away from the property...

We woke up to a White Christmas morning that was uncomfortably cold. Due to the weather as well as Electric Heating System being switched off by the Management to avoid some accident. Its a routine to use the heating from 6 pm to 10 pm irrespective of the weather. We were a large group of 20 with small kids as well....

After a 20 minute walk to reach Eagles Nest one was not disappointed. Spacious room with balcony overlooking the mountains. Good choice of food in a cosy environment with open fires & hot water bottles in our bed. Thoroughly recommend the water fall walk, but you do need walking boots.

We are writing a review as we were quite disappointed with our visit. We stayed two nights (though we originally planned to stay for 3) in the moonlight suite. We were really looking fwd to our stay given that the hotel sits amidst lovely deodar forest, bit away from the main town. However despite the lovely location (rating 5), the...

Had the best time with the best views, food, yoga and an absolute hidden gem in the mountains. It's a special place for me. We had organic food, spring...

We were 2 families (9people) An old charming guest house in the hills above Mcleodganj. Location - 5*, up in the hills and only accessible by hiking the last 1km upto the hotel. Views spectacular, peaceful. Quality of rooms - 2* the rooms were classic old style, but considering the amount of staff they had the cleanliness needs definite improvement....

There aren't enough adjectives to describe this perfect location. A 10min easy walk up a track from the road ensure the wonderful serene isolation of Eagles Nest. Not one, but two stunning views!! Quiet. Attentive and willing staff on hand all day. Wonderful food prepared by Vicky. Some great hiking upto 2875m on the doorstep. The freshest spring water you...

Eagle's nest is a bit difficult to approach but once you get there it is completely worth it. It is not your everyday hotel where you have to worry about the prices of food that you're going to order or what they might charge you on certain things. Everyone is like a family here, you can just sit in the...
