D'Polo is one of the best 4 star hotel in dharamshala. I stayed here for 2 days and I literally enjoyed my staycation over here. We were welcomed with a Kaada (Immunity booster in this pandemic). We opted for Presidential room that was located near the terrace and we were amazed by the view of the Dhauladhar ranges from our balcony. One can capture perfect sunrise and sunsets from their terrace. You can also plan your destination wedding here and they provide premium services at reasonable price. It seem to be one of the best venue for destination wedding in Dharamshala. We totally loved the service and hospitality here. The in-house restaurant of the hotel offers a wide range of cuisines. One cannot miss the lip-smacking food from their kitchen. This Hotel also offers Spa services which makes the overall stay experience even more comforting and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a peaceful location in Dharamshala. It is one of the best resort there.

Recently i visited Hotel D Polo Dharamshala with my wife on 24th September 2020 for three night. As everyone know novel corona virus is spreading in the country at its peak me, my wife and my son got ourselves tested , we came negative and we booked our reservation with them . D'Polo club & Resort Dharamshala is taking all the necessary precautions for its customers. As we entered the property , they sanitized our luggage and check our temperature. They have installed a machine to sanitize of their customer. The staff of D'Polo club & Resort Dharamshala is so humble, cooperative, and perfect in their flawless services for their customers.
Mr. Karan@ receptionist upgrade our room, and that room view is like heaven. He helped us in our plans for the day and he suggested us how we should plan our days in Dharamshala.
Chef Khem Singh prepared food according to our choice. Every meal prepared by them was just amazing & delicious. He also personally visited us during our meals to make sure the meals are perfect and if there is any mistake in the taste or preparation.
I personally recommend everyone to visit this property and give team of Hotel D'Polo an honour to serve everyone who visits them.

We stayed on New year eve of 21-22 with three families. The hotel is little far from city but it’s a large and spacious hotel unlike other smaller hotels near city centre with ample parking space. The services are little slower and food is not very tasty too. Menu was limited and repeating. Sound insulation in rooms was very poor and you keep hearing one sound or another whole night and when u talk in room anyone can listen in corridors. Hot water supply is also limited. Room phone switches kettles toilet jets etc are not upto mark or broken and room housekeeping is also not very good. Choose wisely.

Requested for fresh towels but still stinking napkins and towels and service is so poor that they take 30-40 mins for house keeping. Food is also ok but not recommended. Rooms are spacious but service is poor and when we check in there was no towels and napkin. We requested several time to Mr. Sunil Dutt but didn’t make any improvement and changes. Please don’t go by above rating and make mistake. This is commercial hotel but not recommended for Family

The resort is located 6 kms before main Dharamshala town and therefore no restaurant or other resorts etc are there. The service is pathetic. I was allotted an under maintenance room which was stinking badly, linens were not changed, cockroaches and other insects were there in crockery and electric kettle, electricity board in bedroom and tap in bathroom were coming out etc. The staff was so uncooperative that when I complained more than 4 times and requested for room change, it was changed. The restaurant was charging higher than the rates mentioned on the menu card and corrected the bills when pointed out. The pillow covers and linens were not changed and we're dirty. Overall the worst service I have ever seen. Would never recommend even if the resort charges zero amount as it would spoil your holiday.

We were on a leisure trip to Dharamshala and stayed at the “D'Polo Club & Spa Resort”. We checked in on June 12, 2022 and Checked out on June 17, 2022. We had booked two “Club Executive” rooms. We were allotted “Room Number 221” and “Room Number 223”. Both the rooms were quite spacious and had balconies. The housekeeping staff members – ‘Sonam’, ‘Simran’ and ‘Sunny’, who used to service our rooms, were all very polite and efficient. Our favorite was “Sunny”. “Sunny” always ensured that we get the best housekeeping service. We felt that ‘Sunny’ gave exemplary service that went far beyond his line of duty. Special thanks to the Housekeeping Supervisor ‘Mr. Vijay Kumar’ for flawlessly managing the housekeeping team. We got a chance to meet Mr. Vijay Kumar and we would like to put on record that he is an extremely polite and down to Earth gentleman. When anyone stays at a hotel, the most important thing that he wants is that the room where he stays should be extremely hygienic with an exceptional housekeeping team to compliment it. In this hotel we experienced precisely that. The Gentleman at the Reception – ‘Mr. Sunil Dutt’ was very polite, friendly and helpful. ‘Karan’ at the reception helped to bubble wrap the Bottle of Apple Wine that we bought from Dhramshala. Anyone who is planning to visit Dharamshala should stay in this hotel.

We stayed at D'Polo for four days towards the end of March 2022. The resort is located a little away from the main city .The room allotted to us was clean and comfortable and the balcony faced the Dauladhar Mountain Range giving us an amazing view. The house-keeping staff is both courteous, efficient and attend to requests without any delay.
We were not particularly interested in the indoor activities/games (which were quite a few) However, we immensely enjoyed the morning 2 1.2 hour morning walk in the nearby tea garden.
Food at the resort was awesome. The complimentary breakfast was excellent both in terms of the quality and taste. And there was good variety on offer at the table. Lunch and Dinner too were wonderful, the ala carte offering variety of choices. Dinner service was also available at the rooftop restaurant, offering a breathtaking view of the Dauladhar and great ambience. The personnel serving food were very pleasant, courteous and efficient
We were keen on tasting at least one local dish. Our special thanks and compliments to the Executive Chef Chowang and Devanshu Sharma for fulfilling this wish by letting us savor the local delicacy 'Sepu Vadi', which needless to say, we thorougly enjoyed.
Overall, we were impressed by the quiet locale of the resort and the hospitality (with a personal touch) extended to us. Their general interest in our comfort and experience was wonderful. Our sincere thanks to the management and every member of the staff. We look forward to visiting again!

I stayed for two nights at D Polo Dharamshala. The quality of stay and hospitality was outstanding. This hotel is a complete package in itself wherein you can enjoy the nature, scenic views of the valley, delicious food, rooftop cafe, indoor games and a long list to describe. Room service boys, housekeeping staff, kitchen staff were very prompt and professional in their service. Kudos to GM and his motivated team and also F&B manager Sahil. Hotel was amazing beyond words. Every staff member was very nice and welcoming and can't thank enough to to Mr Sanuj who helped my questions regarding local travel. Also chef was very good with very delicious meals. OMG I've never seen so much variety in breakfast buffet. They had all kind of foods in breakfast buffet idlies, dosa, cereal, toast, fruits, amritsari chose bhature, cakes, hashbrowns...perfect blend of both east and west breakfast varieties...I can literally go on and on with food. Very delicious food. Hotel overall was extremely clean and in very good location. I'm clean freak and usually never stay unless it is Marriott or Hampton's but this hotel was extremely clean with clean bathrooms and floors. I like how there was no carpet in rooms which makes it more comfortable. Also love how they have open terrace and very pleasant to sit and have beautiful view of mountains. There was not much noise which is perfect if u want to enjoy some calmness and peace in environment. I would love to come back n stay again.
