We had heard so much about this place that we spent some hours in this place while visiting Dharamshala. They fed us awesome home cooked himachali food while basking in the sunlight. Their tents are all luxury self contained. The staff very courteous. The camps Pet dog April was also very welcoming. Thanking you Ravinder Rana for your hospitality .

One of the very few places which makes you fall in love, it’s not a camping site but an experience in itself. Visited this place with a friend for a casual lunch in December 2020, was so moved by the hospitality and the whole experience I had in the short couple of hours I spent there that I decided to get my family from Pune to this place. Following is my take of 5 days, my wife myself and our daughter, spent here in January 2021: Pros: -The place has very positive vibes -Secluded, yet close to Mcleodganj (12 km) -Next to a river -The tastiest local food you will find in Kangra district (I can vouch,as I have been to almost all of the famous places), the promoter has catered to BCCI and has very senior Indian cricketers as fans of the food served here. -Many celebrities, cricketers and sports persons including Sachin Tendulakar’s to go place when in Dharamshala -Clean rooms with 24 hrs hot water and heated mattresses, we didn’t feel cold at all even when the temperature went down to 0 degree. - The promoter of the place himself a National level hockey player, is always around and says that he wants his staff to incorporate the habit of never say no attitude, to any of his guests’ demands. -The camp promotes the employment to the locals and has employed staff from the adjoining villages, who are very simple and sweet people. - A lot of trekking routes around, April the pet here will happily guide you. - Cars with drivers to take you around. Cons: -Approach to the camp a little rough (100 mts, just before the camp) -The kingside bed has twin mattress, can be uncomfortable in the middle. Thanks Ranaji (the promoter) and the entire staff at Camp Lungta for making our stay super special and memorable, we will surely come back soon.

When you need solitude, serenity, peace, camping by the riverside n variety of home-cooked delicacies, then Camp Lungta is the only place you are searching for.Located at a place with many gentle hills and especially the dhauladhar range of Himalayas in the backdrop..the staff was more like a family and makes you feel at home...The soft and pleasant burbling of the rivulet at night makes your soul calm and ecstatic..This is going to be one of my favorite destinations to enjoy vacations .
