The stay is memorable for me and my family of two young kids. Fresh and hot food was served with smiles on their face. The staff are locals and are really hospitable. The location and the tents make you comfortable and will feel like you are away from the rat race. Special mention about April & Westi. Don't miss to spot some birds like Great Barbet and Magpie. Overall it was a great stay and planning to visit soon.

Awesome place, one of the finest luxury camping place. We were a group of 15 folks with 7 kids and stayed for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the place, hospitality of the staff, awesome food. The kids were on their own and safe and played all the time. The services are no less than a 5 star resort. They also arranged trips to the water pond, trekks, and all are totally worth it. And did I forget telling they have 2 amazing dogs, april and besty and 2 cats who will keep you entertained all the time. Only one feedback is on location. They do their best to guide how to reach, but will be great if boards are put 2-3 km prior to the place. Also, the Google map shows wrong path for last 3-4 kms, leading to a dangerous hill with deadend. Pls get this corrected

Hi All, I am writing this review regarding my latest trip to Dharamshala from 14-16 April. My intention this time was to be right in the lap of nature with minimum human noises for a disconnect to connect, I found Camp Lungta exactly inline to my expectations with comfortable family stay. Most important part of the stay was the delicious food served in floor sitting arrangement typical Pahari style. As you might have heard serving food with love make it more delicious that is the mantra behind wonderful food @Camp Lungta....... Coming back on the activities this property offer tracking (optional), Bon fire. In addition to that you can enjoy the freezing water bath in close vicinity & a perfect view from your tent while enjoying Tea & Pakoras. If you are a music lover please don't forget to bring your own music system / speakers. Thank you Mr. Ravinder Rana for being a great host :-).

The calmness and the view of the mountains heal. But, there is no app for it. Fortunately, we have Camp Lungta to our rescue. It was quite a scramble getting to the camp. But once we got there we realised why people oftentimes chose to ‘disconnect to connect’ in the mountains. Life was rising - in the trees, in the grass, in the mountains … and in our veins. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a gorgeous sight - two friends with fur and tails. A mountain dog, April, and an Indie (we christened him Brownie), were our guides for the next 48 hours. It was completely hassle-free to coordinate with the calm-headed property owner, Ranaji. While the hospitality was top-notch, we were introduced to lip-smacking Himachali cuisine by the adroit cooks in the Camp Lungta kitchen. Always sporting a smile, the women in the kitchen had one aim: To feed the guests food (every meal was toothsome!) wholeheartedly. :) This place promises no intercom or a fancy room-dining service. And, that’s the beauty of this camp. The team provided us with their personal numbers so we could reach out to them at any hour during our stay. Whether it was the hot pakoras & chai at 4pm or Brownie resting in our sit-out area, every sight at the camp was heartwarming. Our best takeaway from the trip was our trek alongside our guide, Aniruddh. There were moments during the trek when we were breathless and thought we couldn’t proceed, but Aniruddh kept encouraging us to climb further. He even volunteered to exchange his shoes and walk barefoot when my hiking shoes tore midway! He shared stories of the mountains with us - with various flourishes and interpolations of his own. :) And, that’s what made the trek so memorable. Thank you, Ranaji and Camp Lungta, for this remarkable holiday. We will definitely come back for more.

When I first heard of the camp; I was thrilled, I must say. Excitement had creeped inside of me to an extent, that I couldn’t BEAR the WAIT!! Well, being there, made it all worth. I never thought I could fall in love with the mountains, until I came here. The tents, the water, the TREKKING, the food, the peoplee… I’LL MISS IT ALL!❤️ Being in a jungle at night, AH, I never thought I’d ever do thattt!! It was indeed tiring, but it all became relevant when I first saw the clouds! ☁️ We all have heard of the word “hospitality “ and I must admit, being at camp lungta made me realise it’s true meaning! The staff was just so benevolent and helpful!! It felt like home there!❤️ I will, indeed, miss the RAIN 🌧 I WILL MISS BEING IN CONSTANT ALERT FOR WEIRD PLANTS, INSECTS AND WHATT NOTT!😂🥺 I EXPLORED A DIFFERENT SIDE OF ME, but, There’s alot more stories hidden behind these tents!! Its a must visit for one who thrives for peace and wants to explore NATURE! ❤️ Until againnn; ~ Bhavisha Sharma💗

The place is clean and amazing for the staff and hospitality they offer. Lipsmacking food, every meal was amazing. We went for a jungle campnight which is like a 2 hrs trek from the resort, accompanied by the resorts dog april, whom my kids fell in love with. A very clean place with clean bathrooms and lovely grasslands they have up there. Again they made an effort to send the tastiest food for our campstay and some more amazing food was cooked by the staff for our dinner. Full marks to the place and would love to comeback with the kids soon.

We had heard so much about this place that we spent some hours in this place while visiting Dharamshala. They fed us awesome home cooked himachali food while basking in the sunlight. Their tents are all luxury self contained. The staff very courteous. The camps Pet dog April was also very welcoming. Thanking you Ravinder Rana for your hospitality .
