I arrived at Mahagony Springs at dark, frustrated by the long car journey from Kampala. (you should fly if you can afford it) It was not as I expected - dark rooms, no electricity from 1030pm to 530am...and it was not cheap. However, was blown away by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff, esp David and Jotham, who, you...

Hi JamL, Thank you for posting the review. We are glad that you loved the food, view and hospitality and that you had a fantastic experience. In regards to the electricity 24 hour power should be back very soon, the hydropower for the area was down but has been worked on. We have added more lights to the room to...

If you are looking for something truly comfortable with luxurious feeling, this should be your choice. This lodge has really comfy and spacious, privat cabins spreaded nicely around their premises, offering very nice privacy and serenity. The cabin was clean with really nice beds with soft linen (and really good, not too soft mattresses). Bathroom was spacious with a great,...

Couldn't recommend highly enough! Absolutely stunning setting with green rolling hills. Beautiful large bandas with balcony views over the stunning setting. Excellent staff and personal service. Great food. Personal service from staff. Have to praise David and Jotham especially who couldn't do enough for me and helped me out so much. If you're going to the gorillas. Stay here!

Had an all too quick stay in Henry. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were very helpful from arrival till departure.Enjoyed a Nile Special on the verandah whilst taking in the view. Managed to relax after our Bwindi community walk in the lounge with a log fire and chatted to other guests. We then enjoyed a very...

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of October. From the moment we arrived and sat drinking coffee, we were entranced by the beautiful setting. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and immediately made us feel completely at home. All in all, a perfect base from which to see the mountain gorillas.

The location is excellent but the rooms and food were just okay. The main lobby is pretty cozy with a fire place but weird cats walking through while you're trying to eat. The views were also beautiful. A little work to make the rooms a little cozier would go a long way. Overall, i would recommend it but i do...

Hi Worn, Thank you for the review. I am glad you enjoyed the overall experience.
