This place is a beautiful, charming place. I recommend arriving around lunch, so you can enjoy a quiet afternoon, a hot shower with view on the rainforrest and if you're lucky a family of chimpansees just in front of your hut. When the sun went down they made us a nice little fire and when we woke up it was...

we were warmly greeted, our cute cabin which we had the choice of ,was simple but really good, , we sat on our balcony sipping a beer that the host went to the village to buy especially for us...so if you intend to have more than one tell him how many to buy...all the complex is very nicely set &...

Nshongi Camp is a wonderful camp close the Bwindi NP. We liked the friendly people at this quiet place. Excellent food at the restaurant. Lots of birds around the camp. One of the best camps we stayed in Uganda

It was our first time in Africa and staying at the Nshongi Camp was the best choice we've made. Everything was great; the rooms were clean, the service impeccable, the atmosphere calm, the location perfect and, most of all, the people were welcoming and amazing. It was a really enjoyable stay. One morning, while having our breakfast, a cute gorilla...

On my seconnd trip to uganda, I couldn't not go to Nshongi Camp. The place is magical, close to the forest and very close to the Gorilla tracking starting point. I was there 4 years ago, and from that time, Nshongi Camp made so many improvements, hot water showers, renewed toilets, new bigger bandas, car parking place and night watchman....

I stayed in Nshongi camp for two nights, can't praise enough about the owner, Silva, and his staff. A very friendly place to stay, great location, fantastic food, wonderful service. I arranged transportation all by myself. Happened to be a local truck from Kabale to Rushaga, operate only twice a week. It is supposed to be a 2 1/2 hr...

Stayed for two nights. No response to email booking enquiry weeks in advance so just turned up. Beautiful setting looking out into the forest, good food and good service. Easy to get to by public transport (search for Gorilla Highlands booklet for details). On the expensive side for what you get but not at lot of other options unless you...

My wife, a friend, and I recently stayed at Nshongi Camp in order to go gorilla tracking in Bwindi. We chose Nshongi because of it's location and price and were really pleasantly surprised that we had stumbled upon the ideal place to stay in the area. Nshongi camp is a 5 minute walk from the Rushaga gate entrance to Bwindi...
