A nice place, different than the other lodges. Not as warm as other places, but a nice 20-25 degrees centigrade. Nice to have this experience once to sleep in a tent. The only thing is, most of the things get moist because of the height. Anyway, the food is good, very friendly and helpful staff and an amazing view at...

The lodge is set in a beautiful location close to the National Park and offers a haven with lovely staff attending to you. The chef is perfect and the manager is a world class. It is a tented camp with a great view of the park and the rooms are just lovely. I loved the bathtub.

The staff was great, it was clean and the food was brilliant considering that you are in the middle of nowhere, Moses the manager is attentive and the even packed lunches for us on the day we visited the gorillas and the day we left. It is in the middle of nowhere so don't expect 5 star, you can expect...

Part of the reason why I was disappointed with this place is that we had signed up to a "luxury package" safari, and this lodge was nowhere near as good as the other place we stayed (Enganzi Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park). Having said that, it is a perfectly ok place to spend the night, especially when you come...

Warm welcome (really the norm everywhere), excellent service, everyone was particularly helpful especially taking our completely drenched shoes & warming by the fire. Great views! All the recent reviews are right: the hot water is actually very hot, food good etc. The old reviews do not match our experience, no parties etc, it was quiet. Within easy walking distance to...

We spent two nights in this friendly and welcoming hotel. The staff was very helpful and tended to all our needs. The roms were very clean and I absolutely loved the bathroom and the fact that we partly were out in the wild while showering, watching the stars at the same time was completely amazing. The beds were comfortable and...

We spent 3 nights at Kitandara in Feb 2013. The self contained tents are roomy, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot shower after our two days of gorilla trekking (actually, a tub with a shower nozzle on a flexible hose). The flush toilet was a pleasant change from the sand toilets we had experienced elsewhere. Food was good,...

I stayed in this lovely up-market 'campsite' over the new year period. After a very long journey from Kampala (and the UK) we received a very warm welcome. The tents are amazing, not at all like camping, and the meals were just lovely. We visited the mountain gorillas, an unforgettable experience, and toured the local hospital, orphanage, countryside, even met...

I stayed here twice already and I felt like at home. Service is good and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Moses Nahabwe did his best to make my stay enjoyable and unique. I would highly recommend staying at their tented camp while exploring Bwindi and Gorillas.

We really loved this tented camp! Yes, it's camping (sort of) so didn't expect a lot of glam--but the tents were well covered to protect from weather (with 3 different layers to the actual roof over the tent), plus they're raised up on a platform. The bathrooms are on the backside of the tent platform and totally private--full tub, detachable...
